I missed the show last week as I was at the GN. Recorded it. Thought the GB was OK but not all the raving...

OK, so I was transfixed by the sticker on Amanda's leg which mysteriously disappeared during the act...hmmm... I'm sure I shouldn't have been focusing on that!

Ffs sums it up. My dc just caught the end of the act and said whatpoor presentation.

I think the sticker was the price tag as she was hoping to take it back tomorrow.

Found the first live show pretty boring. Not really a stand out act.

Kids and skaters will go through I think. Although I bloody loved the puppies!!!!

Two votes for Finn. One each for the singer the children and the roller skater. That's Mum and I voting!

Wow there wasn't a single act that I didn't think was rubbish. I raised a wry smile at the impressionist and that was it.

Hopefully it will get better through the week. I too think I'm probably not the target audience for it anymore but even my dc were only (slightly) entertained by Amanda swearing.

Trick with Amanda was daft and wwonder what that was stuck upon her leg.

I wish with the dance acts and the singing kids they had kept a static camera facing the stage . It's hard to really appreciate what the audience actually see. The camerawork is manic and distracting.

The dogs were cute but not much of a trick.

Hope it gets better as the week goes on!

Piggy I stopped watching X Factor because of the manic camera work.

Also Strictly Come Dancing is the same for manic camera work..

In the case of Strictly , though, that often makes acts look better than they are! In the case of BGT it stops us from appreciating the formations of dance acts and I am not sure we could see the narrative of the kiddies act (if indeed there was one...)

Bit of a concern that fake Gloria is a better singer than Gloria!

Someone backstage adds the numbers/words etc to the video just before they run it. And the letters on the flip board will have been marked.

I imagine that the was some quick photoshopping being done while he sorted the letters and the words were added in to the video....the letters he changed after the judges picked to be sure it was 'really random' 🙄
