Just seen that Darcy is quitting SCD...whilst I didn't really like her initially, she did grow on me over the years.

Who is going to replace her bring Arlene back

I would like Jenny Thomas if they are intent on a woman. She's done choreo for the show. I wouldn't mind Matt Flint for that matter.

And it must be a professional dancer! If it was Alfonso or Stacy I would stop watching, I like them both but I couldn't deal with either

I'd appreciate his grumbling re. stupid props and faffing abaht these days.

I hope it's not Stacey Dooley, Ashley Banjo etc. I want someone knowledgeable and dynamic. The current pro dancers are mixed ability in 10 dance so I don't think the producers would risk a pro judge unpicking their technique unless they agreed to be tactful (the pay packet and airtime might prove persuasive).
They're obsessed with dumbing down the show so I imagine it will be somebody who says nothing controversial.

Anton or Vincent would be good, Erin would be strict! Aliona, James Jordan or Brendan bwahahah yes please!

Carlos Acosta would be great, and he's a wonderful dancer.
Never liked Darcy. I hated the way she spoke and over-enunciated every word.

I'd love it to be Brendan Cole or Karen Hardy. Karen was great on the tour, I was actually hoping for her over Shirley (though I've warmed to Shirley now). Or maybe one of the other pros that have gone. I wasn't a massive Erin fan, but love Natalie. Would be nice to see her return.

Yay! Sorry Darcey, but I’m not sorry to see her go. She just isn’t a natural at live tv. Incredible dancer and obviously knows her stuff but I didn’t like her delivery.

They won’t give it to JAmes or Brenda. I think a woman is likely. Bit of history with Aliona, but Natalie, Karen and CAmilla left on good terms.

Really couldn't care less who replaces her, i watch for the dancing not the judge's.

Aargh! Not Oti or Cheryl please. The Greatest Dancer sucked. It only grew on me because of the contestants themselves, not the format, nor the captains nor the presenters.
Oti's sister Motsi is on the judging panel for the German version.

Joanne would see it as a step back, surely? Given now she's into musical theatre dahling. I think producers would know bringing her back to judge her ex SIL is going to be a bad move. Or they will think it's publicity dynamite.
Flavia has a toddler so might not want to do the long Saturdays but I like her. If we are looking at Choreo Corner candidates can we have Chloe back?

I might stop watching if they choose Cheryl. Why not someone with a ballroom/ Latin background? It would be great if 2 out of the 4 had a good knowledge of what they are talking about. There is nothing wrong with well-informed judges having different opinions.
