Mine has to be Giles and Mary they are hilarious.
I was creasing last night imagining Giles frisbeeing a popadom across the room 😂😂

Love Giles and Mary, so dry and random. Can't stand the Blackpool siblings, they're so put on and really not that funny. The droning Michaels are highly irritating, as are the Brighton couple, Stephen and his husband. Love the Siddiquis, too.

Fascinating that some of these families are really a love them/ hate them. A few of them keep coming up with either oh I love them/ argh I can’t stand them!

Either way they all show us different perspectives

The woman, man and older daughter- they have a Northern accent, Manchester maybe. Daughter has recently got a heavy fringe. I vaguely remember reading that bloke is Mum’s new partner and not girl’s Dad. Bloke sits in the middle in his checked jammie bottoms- has he EVER SAID A SINGLE WORD?

I loved it when Dave and Shirley were watching Line of Duty and Shirley explained what UCO stood for and Dave was like “Fucking hell you’re on fire today Shirl!”. It was so out of character for her. I love Shirley.

I hate how Pete sits there with his legs spread open-yuck. I would like to marry the middle Siddiqui.

I love Giles and Mary so much ... well, Giles.

I remember when they first started, almost everyone on here hated them

Siddiques and Giles & Mary are my favourites, but also like Jenny & Lee.

Used to like the hairdresser one when he was with his friend but he's not coming across well these days.

I got Giles and Mary’s book last Christmas. It’s worth a read if you want to know a bit more about them. It even has a floor plan if their cottage!

I like Izzy and Ellie & Jenny and Lee (but only when they are watching tv - I felt sick watching him pull hairs out of her chin)

This is one of those programmes I overall really like however do have to watch alone on catchup as I have to have the remote at hand to fast forward the Michaels for the whiny know it all mother and the son and also the two Leeds girls...good god can't take their grating voices!

The best thing about Pete 'n' Linda from Clacton was their son! He was the bright spark. Sadly he seems to have left.
I don't think the new-ish posh, older couple have much to add to the show. But I quite like the two older gay guys (from Cambridge?) although they're not on very often.
But for me too it has to be the Siddiqis and Jenny and Lee.

The brother and sister... I have to mute the tv when she laughs. She sounds as if she is about to go into hysterics. Constantly.

The really dimwit duo, one was talking recently about getting paid ten pounds for eating dog food... They add nothing, IMO.

I like Ellie and Izzy. They're down to earth, cheerful and funny. I like Jenny and Lee too, they are warm and genuine.

I dislike Giles and Mary. They're rather smug and not as "eccentric" as they think.

Must admit I’m not a fan of those two ‘dumb’ northern girls. I say ‘dumb’ as I’m not sure whether they put it on for the show if they are actually like that in rl. It’s like whenever they speak I imagine silence and a tumbleweed going by...they’re not even funny?

I seem to remember something about him being charged with assaulting his girlfriend last year. I'm not sure what the outcome was but that's probably the reason why he isn't on the show any more.

'The two older gay guys from Cambridge' I think they are just friends..I am sure I read an article about a few of the families in a mag one time and they have wives.

Also do you think the gogglers get paid by appearance? Surely they can't all get the same..The siddiquis and brother and sister and Giles and Mary provide so much more content than those two cambridge guys or Amira and her sister..who I don't think have once made me raise a smile.

I love Shirley and Dave, Jenny and Lee, The siddiquis, and Pete and Sophie (I din't like them before they have definitely grown on me) Pete and Linda don't really seem to add much to it nowadays either. Dave the dog and his family are fab too just I always get slightly edgy about how close their shoes are to the cakes !

They don't get paid. They get a cake budget and a settee if they're lucky with the sponsors.

They get £1k a month( not each)and a takeaway allowance.
