I'd say the head-tilt indicates love, the upper body language openness, and the expression is joy mixed with pride with a side helping of nostalgia.

I'm guessing the priest has just said something profound, slightly daft and adorable during the wedding.

RosemaryTelephoneOperator · 07/04/2019 17:16

Haha Rosa didn't take it as sarcy! I am laughing at my own level of excitement. Desperate for another morsel to pour over.

RuffleCrow · 07/04/2019 17:18

I think there might also be a slight hint of sadness there too around the eyes, like her emotions are very near the surface. Definitely mixed emotions. That's weddings for you Wink

ComputerSaysMo · 07/04/2019 17:28

Gah, stop it Ruffle I’m trying to stay optimistic. Today’s rewatch has & hasn’t helped with that:

Episode 1: Priest makes it clear he’s lonely and gravitates to her instantly

Episode 2: Therapist tells Fleabag she knows what she’s going to do, and shagging the priest won’t make her feel as powerful as she thinks it will.

Episode 3: Belinda tells her to get out and flirt. She promptly goes to the church, where the Priest tells her he will not be physical with her.

Episode 4: Kneel.

Episode 5: In which the Priest confesses that he can’t shag her because he loves her, and actually consummating it will fuck up his life. Then he does it anyway.

I am cautiously thinking that the signs are pointing towards a happy ending, but that therapist is worrying me a bit...

Did I hear someone say that sometimes the episode goes up on the iPlayer before broadcast? Or is it wishful thinking Grin need something to occupy myself while I wait for my roast to cook

RosemaryTelephoneOperator · 07/04/2019 17:38

I think she's looking at HP with the same look of love on her face.

howmanyleftfeet · 07/04/2019 17:42

Did I hear someone say that sometimes the episode goes up on the iPlayer before broadcast?

Yes, all the other episodes have been available from about 10am on iPlayer.

Angeladelight · 07/04/2019 18:02

Thanks @howmanyleftfeet it hasn’t shown up for me.

Lungelady · 07/04/2019 18:04

I have spent this afternoon bingewatching it all. Olivia Colman is superb

CountFosco · 07/04/2019 18:09

The photo tells us nothing. That still could be her laughing at a joke of OC then seconds later she could be turning to us and saying something evil. But I want it to be her happy and chatting to Claire. I think the perfect ending has to involve Claire. When FB told Claire she wanted to be friends Claire said 'we're not friends, we're sisters'. It's about sisters.

Sisterself · 07/04/2019 20:02

BBC iplayer on twitter appear to have just confirmed that the final episode will go live in the evening and then on iplayer shortly afterwards, so not going to be available at 10am in the morning (will still be checking though!).

itsabongthing · 07/04/2019 20:08

Oh no this is a disaster for me as we’re flying out on holiday tomorrow about 4pm so was hoping to download it by then! I don’t think I can watch iPlayer abroad can I Shock

hopefullybettersoon · 07/04/2019 20:12

I've got a feeling the iPlayer website is going to crash at 10am tomorrow with people looking for fleabag!

ThanksItHasPockets · 07/04/2019 20:12

Ah, bum. I’m not surprised though. There’s such a buzz around the finale they’d be mad not to maximise the audience for the live tx.

RuffleCrow · 07/04/2019 20:12

They're just toying with us now sisterself

Or looking for record viewing figures.

Or a mixture of the two.

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 07/04/2019 20:16

You need a UK proxy VPN connection @itsabongthing

Just download PIA VPN and set your location as UK. As long as you switch it on then your phone and media think you’re in the UK.

It’s safe and it’s free.

See? THIS is what MN is all about.

Sisterself · 07/04/2019 20:26

What HAVE the viewing figures been? I know it has exploded on social media this series but I still imagine it's not particularly high in comparison to other popular BBC1 programmes and I would think a high percentage of its views have been via Iplayer

ComputerSaysMo · 07/04/2019 20:32

If a high percentage of views have been on iPlayer, that’s just as valid. Competition with Netflix, right? It’s the future.

itsabongthing · 07/04/2019 20:46

Amazing, @paulhollywoodssexgut, thank you.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 07/04/2019 21:50

Just rewatched episode 5 and noticed that when FB opens the door to HP there is a clap of thunder! It sounds a bit... demonic? #overinvested

RosemaryTelephoneOperator · 07/04/2019 21:53

Oh god I hope he's not bad. I made my best friend binge watch and she doesn't like HP... she thinks he's a womanising user..... Sad

merrymouse · 07/04/2019 22:03

twitter.com/SiansUniverse/status/1114991999365599232

Conflicting information about times - Sian Clifford says available from 9am on iplayer - Maybe we'll just have to keep checking all day?

RuffleCrow · 07/04/2019 22:09

Sian's so lurking here winding us up Grin

howmanyleftfeet · 07/04/2019 22:09

I believe Sian!

vegpatch · 07/04/2019 22:11

10am...Oh I hope so so much.
I have been making DH whisper 'kneel to me on occasion recently Blush
