Now, I'm a bit confused, as I thought i had started this thread already, but I'm having a rubbish day back and forth with the dog to the vet.

He is now off for surgery, so I'm very stressed, and need this to be a distraction. Sad

So...there could be a duplicate thread somewhere, and I seem to have lost itGrin.

I've discovered there will be a public vote at some point too- to get back someone from the knock out rounds.

I'm not sure I care that much about any of the acts chucked out, to be honest! Grin

So- in the hope I don't mess up this thread, see you later...

I actually loved Madge in Evita.

It really suited her, and I liked the 'new' songs.

Oh blimey. I suppose there wasn't much choice, but I'm not a fan of Molly the 45 year old teenager.

Yay!!!!!!

Piggywaspushed · 23/03/2019 20:30

Evita was good and I also like Who's That Girl ... sad, but true....

Elderflower14 · 23/03/2019 20:30

Oh so from supporting me on tour to supporting me in London.... That's a come down!!!

Piggywaspushed · 23/03/2019 20:31

Oh no, I meant Desperately seeking Susan. Who's That Girl was shit.

Raahh · 23/03/2019 20:31

Well, Georgia in the car seat covers and wet look hair, can now go and get a wash.

Desperately seeking Susan was ok I think?
She made a lot of films didn't she.
Some say too many!

Raahh · 23/03/2019 20:32

Oh yes - the sound track to DSS was great too.

I don't know this "famous" kid either.

BitOfFun · 23/03/2019 20:32

Body Of Evidence was hilariously awful.

nancy75 · 23/03/2019 20:33

The famous kid is Oli Alexander the singer from years & years

Elderflower14 · 23/03/2019 20:33

Dream girl!

Raahh · 23/03/2019 20:34

80s she wasn't a natural actress. Not many people were brave enough to tell her though. But some things 'fit'. Evita seemed to work.

The wardrobe people clearly hate their job, look at this poor woman

Elderflower14 · 23/03/2019 20:35

Was very surprised that Jimmy Nail was in Evita!
I have both his Crocodile Shoes CDs.. LOVE his voice!!

The80sweregreat · 23/03/2019 20:35

She was sultry in ' dick Tracey'
Her work with her ex husband were terrible!

Raahh · 23/03/2019 20:36

Wardrobe want shooting.

I mean , these are teenagers.

Why are they dressing them like middle aged women??

OP posts:
The80sweregreat · 23/03/2019 20:37

Yes, I think Madge won a golden globe for Evita? She really did well in that.
Agree that the leopard print dress n boots combo was odd.

Raahh · 23/03/2019 20:38

(and speaking as a middle aged woman , i wouldn't wear that either, I'm too short for starters Grin)

Blimey I've just realised this goes on till 10pm! We only really watch it as DD likes it, and I don't know she'll last that long...

Piggywaspushed · 23/03/2019 20:40

My DM's mantra was always 'leopard print looks good on no one. Except a leopard'

The80sweregreat · 23/03/2019 20:40

Leopard print is in.
The McDonald's big I pad screens are depressing aren't they? I want a person taking my orders not a screen!

Elderflower14 · 23/03/2019 20:40

That bloody woman in the Nationwide advert..... SHUT UP!!!!!!!!! Hmm

Piggywaspushed · 23/03/2019 20:42

I think the judges should just plonk their rucksack on their chair plinths too elderflower
