I thought I was done hearing Tyler’s mums grating voice on my tv but she’s just popped up on a Lidl ad!

Would you have to know what you are doing to destabilize the roof? Gary would know the weak points I guess. The thing is though Sarah works in the factory so it's to believe that Gary or Nick would put her at risk. And how will Nick gain, surely the insurance wouldn't pay out if the roof was faulty? So many questions....

There’s no way the insurance will cover it. She was made aware of the danger and she should have shut the factory. And that’s even if she has been paying her insurance. Both she and nick are skint aren’t they?

I don’t think nick or Gary would risk sarah. You can’t predict when a building would collapse if you tamper with it. It could happen straight away while you’re standing on it or it could be months later with 30 people working at their machines. Gary wouldn’t do that. No way. What would he gain from it anyway?

If the factory shuts, they'll all have to get proper jobs that requires a commute, or just sit in the pub and get a job offer at Roy's, Devs, chippy, kebab shop, the rovers etc etc.

  1. why was Imran not wearing socks with his suit ? I noticed it at the flat when he had legs crossed and gave Rana the bracelet and in the street when looking for her ...annd it was noticeable because his trousers were too short .
    Is this a new fashion thing ?

  2. if Kirkie had a massive metal thing on his foot/ankle that was too heavy for Paul to lift and he was in pain ....how did he walk out without a hobble or limp ?

  3. why was rana not in a neck brace..first thing they do ? ( ok maybe i watch too much Casulty!!)

Sorry ..it could of been so good given the hype but they rushed and ruined it .
The effects were really good i thought...just didn't need the cast !!!

bizzey men not wearing socks when wearing a suit and smart shoes is quite a recent thing. DH and I always comment on it when we notice it too.

There was a lovely moment after the roof collapsed when it looked like they were all dead. Then another lovely moment when it appeared that Izzy didn't make it. Sigh.

I wondered this but thinking about it now they may not have intended for the roof to cave in so dramatically. They may have been trying to cause some minor damage, especially if they weren't aware that the roof was unstable to begin with. Unless it was Gary in which case he would know exactly how dangerous it was and that he would have been putting lives at risk. Although the factory was supposed to be closed, wasn't it? Because all the workers were on strike (again)? So in theory it should have been empty.

I don't bother to watch anymore but occasionally read these threads out of habit. It was hyped that someone would definitely die last night but I'm confused - is Rana still alive and nobody did die?

south Rana died but not til the end. There was a point way before that where Ali took her phone and said “I’m really sorry Kate” and Kate screeched “noooo” and everybody hugged round her. It was very much as if she had died. But she hadn’t! Not at that stage.

Christ what a wasted opportunity to get rid of so many useless characters.

Kate is just awful, she's going to be a complete pain now and go around blaming anyone and everyone.

What on earth does Sarah see in Gary

I think Seb tampered with the roof, although it was nice to see him and Abbey making up I think this will send him over the edge, he's very close to it anyway.

I liked Rana, she was way better than so many of the others.

Thanks for clarifying ILove. I'm not surprised it's one of the more peripheral characters who's gone.

I've always wondered if the longtime actors have some dirt on ITV because no producer in years has ever had the balls to cull some of the deadwood on the show. I think the last one was Brian Park back in the 90s when he got rid of Don Brennan, Maureen, Derek, Kevin's dad, Percy, Tony Horrocks, and Andy McDonald.

This is just to warn everyone that there's no Corrie tonight and instead it's at 8pm on Sunday for an hour.
We'll have to wait another 2 days for more terrible Kate acting and more time to wish they'd killed off most of them in the factory.

Glad it's not just me that can't stand Kate/Faye Brookes such an irritating character and her over acting drives me up the wall !!! 😖
