Agree they cast the least convincing baddie ever for Steve’s hijacking. Odd choice for a decent part when they’ve got so many actors to choose from.

Carla's storyline is very accurate, sadly.

I can't decide if the writers know they are producing shit scripts and just don't care or whether they genuinely think this shite is what the viewers want.

I think there are small signs of improvement - Imran mentioned Ramadan and there was a gentle, fairly low key conversation with Jenny at the bar - no drama, just everyday chit chat. Steve and Tracey are just a joke though - he comes across as pathetic, and she shouts at everything.

I've pretty much caught up, but still a couple of episodes behind.

Steve's shouting at Tim was ridiculously annoying, very poor acting. The scene when he was talking quietly to the young lad in the taxi office was so much better.

So no one is worried about Steve (whose depression was magically cured overnight) over the impact of the robbery?

First thing I thought when the robbery happened was that Steve's depression will probably come back.

I wondered about Steve’s depression when they started talking about the competitor taxi firm, I thought maybe that was going to be a relapse storyline but clearly not.

The “silly bald man” stuff was just cringeworthy.

Those actors need to go on strike in protest the war awful scripts.

Steve's over acting was just absymal. He was a better actor back in the early nineties (Classic Corrie atm). It's just awful, not a believable little universe anymore.

I think that sponsorship deal is responsible for the quality nose diving. They're not worried about quality and viewer figures because co-op and Costa chuck cash at them.

This App Guy has to be related be to Steve. He must be a brother or cousin or something. He said far too like him not to be.
