I thought the meet the families episode was a bit boring. I missed the drama!

Thought it was funny how he dumped Robyn, and she was the only one whose parents he didn't actually meet(spoke to over the phone). While the others gave him a proper grilling, or pulled at the heart strings,so he probably felt a bit of a twat or guilty if he'd got rid of one of the others,. He just comes across as a total fuckin people pleaser, and just tells everyone what they want to hear! I mean how can he tell all the parents he'll look after their daughter, can see himself being with her etc knowing he can only pick one_Tosser!

Yeah I don't actually really like him but maybe he's nicer in real life? It's so edited as well, I didn't realise they were in South Africa for 4 weeks! There must be so much we don't see. Apparently it's been leaked who he chose and that they've already split up..

The series are usually much longer in the US and 2hour episodes (with ads!). I like how they've done them back to back over two weeks but it feels like it's over so soon! Maybe they are just testing the waters and future series will be longer.

Is this the first UK version?

Me too, I wanted him to pick Charlotte the 36 year old. He’s a tosspot though, I don’t think he really fits in with Alicia and her friends in Essex though.
The other Charlotte doesn’t like him that much I don’t think

I agree with other posters though I find him quite creepy.

Parents definitely liked Charlotte more haha... I think Charlotte and him are more suited , more on the same page . Whereas Essex lass would bring out the fun in him.

Perhaps he's not that into any of them. So picks the one he feels he can ditch more easily.

If they hadn’t split up already, surely when she saw the footage of his date the night before with Charlotte - that must’ve been a tad awkward!

He is SUCH a people pleaser. I feel sorry for Robyn and Charlotte E, think their tears were probably largely humiliation. I get that it’s the format of the show but he didn’t need to be so physical and say all the stuff like ‘you’re everything I’m looking for in a wife’ yada yada

I was definitely 'ewww' at the same hot tub too, in fact at all the saliva they've been sharing with each other the past few weeks. Gross.

I thought in today's episode Charlotte (new - T?) didn't seem that genuine. I thought she was faking a lot and I know people react differently but she really didn't seem that upset when he didn't pick her.

Was this the first UK series or have I missed others?
