My teenage DD summed it up well from the advert, 'That's tragic, going on telly to hook some guy who looks like a wanker otherwise he wouldn't be on telly trying to pull because he's a total munter into the bargain. Sad.' And that was that.

Yes, I watched with DP and he kept saying how embarrassing it is for the girls, especially the beach scene where they all had to race towards him over and over again (amazed at Tara's speed though).
Yes there's definitely something off with him. I initially thought it was just he looks like a young Gandalf.
Just caught up from last night and love that Farran hates his man bun. Finally!

I like Georgie and Tara best, most of the rest are gormless, bland-heads or cows 🤐

Tonique showed her true colours! And then pulled this exact face when Alex's brothers didn't big her up. I initially liked her but she was pretty stroppy.
I find it crazy that these women get so upset. Even the ones who have been on dates with him have spent maximum 10 hours one-to-one with Alex, how are they so emotionally invested already?
I like Reanne, poor girl seems really into Alex and can't stand to share him, at least she seems genuine.

Yes Reanne does seem invested. She's a mix of Christina Applegate & Geri Halliwell!

I really need to get watching this - sounds like I've missed a lot! Don't usually watch stuff like this but I know Charlotte so will be interested to see how she gets on. She is very nice in real life.

The only one who is coming across well is Gabriella.

Reanne seems sweet but she does need to be a bit more resilient, I think - presumably she knew the format of the show.

I can't see him picking Alicia. I think he wants to shag her, but I can't see him taking her home to mummy and daddy somehow. And yes, desist with the muggy - where I come from, that's a weather condition.

Love these programmes.

For me it's all about how people interact and in the end, show their true colours.

Love the teens response, my teen can’t believe I’m watching it, she thinks the woman are humiliating themselves in the tasks such as the beach run. She actually gets cross about it.

Seen ep1 so far. It's always such a shame when (to me) the Bachelor is not attractive! He seems (from the first ep) to be a lovely guy. My interest is slightly lost due to his looks.

I binged watched the first four episodes this afternoon. I'm hooked already, and prefer it to the US series so far.

Tonique was just so rude to the brothers (sous chefs) and she clearly knew it based on her reaction when asking Alex what they said about her. I'm glad he got rid of her, such attitude!

Please can someone explain the white rose to me, I must have missed some key information in the first episode. Wasn't she meant to take him on a date? Why hasn't that happened?

The white rose means Georgie can choose any time or place to invite the bachelor on a date... the producers have clearly told her to hold off on that for a few shows 😁 I quite like her despite thinking she was an annoying ‘Krazy bird’ at first.

Sad Tara’s gone personally, I’d rather someone a bit annoying but fun and humorous and generally harmless, than bitchy and thick like Alicia.

Reanne was being such a selfish drama queen IMO, I’ve had my heart broken and been betrayed before too and I know how painful it is, but bloody hell woman! Step back, take some deep breaths and either get on with it, or wait until the next day and withdraw from the competition gracefully.

Gabriella should win, but actually I think the bachelor is a tasteless fool with his brains in his pants, so I’m sure she won’t 😁

I too actually think he's creepy and loving every moment ... although sometimes looks a bit stressed out 🤣
It's just so wrong on every level, how some of the women really think that they have The special connection. But then they new what it was about before they applied for the show!

Charlotte has it right doesn't she about the whole "how can he know me" as they all have a two minutes to chat each time and then before you know it someone is kicked out.
