Channel 5 - Fred and Rose West

Just watching it - there's something really awful (besides the murders) about the way it's all reported by men. There was one guy who was very strange - the one talking about Fred West "breaking in" his 8 year old daughter. Is anyone watching it?

Yeah there is a whole load of filla but I think they are so funny. I went to one of their live shows where they did Jon Benet Ramsay as a Christmas special

I think my favourite line was when they said that Fred used to eat food directly out of bins, and followed up with 'He was a freegan!'. That made me howl. The Gloucester accents were hilarious too. Never could have imagined there were laughs to be had anywhere near the West case!

I don’t think a Christmas special over a murdered little girl would be that funny at all.

I listened to May Wests book and it gave me nightmares. Fred's brother John would visit and pay Anne Marie for sex (well pay Rose as she was her pimp effectively). When Anne Marie wasn't there he would rape Heather or May. Roses own father would visit and do the same. It was thought that Heather was actually Roses dad offspring. The 3 books Ive read all say different things. In the Howard Sounes one he says Fred only trusted black people (the author repeatedly refers to them as coloured ) and thought they produced the best offspring so actively encouraged Rose to conceive mixed race babies (which she did twice) with her exclusively black clientele. He also used to carry out experiments on his daughter's by trying to inseminate them with these clients semen so he could practise abortions
May says her dad was extremely racist and used to mistreat the mixed race kids but not sexually as they weren't worthy. It's so bizarre that though they (well Rose) were found guilty and the things they did can be found by anyone to read Rose gets fanmail and money from some deranged members of the public. She was even engaged to someone from the band Slade.
