LoonyLyraLovegood · 15/07/2007 21:13

I haven't had a schoolgirlish crush such as this in aaaaaaaages. It's quite fun really.
Except this time around i can't put pictures of Lee on my bedroom wall. DP may have something to say about that.

Berrie · 15/07/2007 21:14

You are a star Oggs, thanks!

Berrie · 15/07/2007 21:15

have seriously considerd a picture of Lee on kitchen cupboard!

LoonyLyraLovegood · 15/07/2007 21:16

Where's Binkle? Six identical posts then nothing.

Berrie · 15/07/2007 21:21

Cant blimmin find lee how far in?

OggsWartsExpress · 15/07/2007 21:26

Don't know Berrie me old mucker. I've got snail connection and haven't actually been able to listen to any of it.

Oh I'm really gonna have to go

It's like the Ra-Ra sisterhood or something.

Don't normally do this but (((hugs)))
Sweet Lee Dreams everyone. (I've just re-set the Lee NOW CADM pic as my desktop)

Berrie · 15/07/2007 21:28

Byee me darlin's going to eat now too!

LoonyLyraLovegood · 15/07/2007 21:30

Now everyone's going, just as DP goes in the other room to do more work and I'm free to chat.

binkleandflip · 15/07/2007 21:50

Sorry, my computer froze and then I couldnt reconnect until now.

I wish I could post a photo of the sheer sock and loincloth combo as description doesnt really do it justice but he did make it sexy..

Anway, suffice to say that you will love the show so much, it was an excellent experience. When it finished the lovely Adam was waiting at the end of our row to escort us to the door and wished us goodnight and safe journey - an unforgettably brilliant evening!!

I'm like a schoolgirl too about the whole thing, I totally heart him now, needless to say

Lyra, did you say you have tickets for Tuesday night?

Berrie · 15/07/2007 21:52

MMmmm so describe this Adam, you've mentioned him as much as Lee

LoonyLyraLovegood · 15/07/2007 21:54

There are tickets up for grabs for press night but i may not get them. The showbiz ed sent an email round asking if anyone wants them and i emailed her back (twice ). She'll be at work tomorrow so I should hear then. have got my mum on standby for emergency babysitting.

binkleandflip · 15/07/2007 21:56

Oh no, Adam not in the least my type, just very obliging. He kind of looked like Seth Green but not redhead - more fair.

He just really took care of us. (I know he was getting paid for it but he was really nice as was his boss Laura - she took pic of me, my sis and Adam).

We were having drink induced thoughts of bribing him to get us backstage to meet Lee but realised Lee's birthday and he'd probably want to chill and enjoy it (not that the bribery would've worked I dont think!! )

binkleandflip · 15/07/2007 21:57

Oh Lyra, I really hope you get them!!

Berrie · 15/07/2007 22:01

You're so considerate binkle!
Did they sing happy b'day to him?

binkleandflip · 15/07/2007 22:13

No, although you would have been proud as I waited for the applause to die down a bit and yelled "Well done Lee and Happy Birthday!!!" at the top of my voice - (for the MN girls!!) - again drink induced behaviour. Dont know if he heard or not or if it just sounded like "Wee...do..Lee...Hab..b.....ay!" ( ie drunken catterwauling!!)

binkleandflip · 15/07/2007 22:16

I am also acting like schoolgirl - I totally heart him now..

Harry Potter on Friday and Joseph on Saturday - a weekend any hormone addled fifteen year old would be proud of ... and I'm not going to let the fact that I am a 35year old married mother spoilt it for me

slayerette · 15/07/2007 22:31

Oh - can't believe I missed all the goss to watch Corrie and Rome with dh. Don't you hate it when RL gets in the way? (Rome v. good though - Mark Anthony awfully manly and rough-tough).

Binkle, it sounds FAB! So glad my dream was not prophetic in any way.

Our seats are in row C of the circle and not (currently) for one of Lee's holiday weeks though I bet he changes his dates now...

So in NINE MONTHS I'll be able to tell you all about it

I could have a baby quicker (but I won't)

binkleandflip · 15/07/2007 22:40

Slayer, the theatre is quite small so I think you'll have a fine view from there, particularly at the end when he pops up to say hello

LoonyLyraLovegood · 15/07/2007 22:40

Which circle are you in, dress or upper/grand? Dress is better. I'm in upper

binkleandflip · 15/07/2007 22:44

Lyra, I honestly think the upper will be fine too. When Adam took us through to the private bit at the start, he took us through the dress circle - very gratifying moment when the ushers said to us (Adam was behind holding door open) 'sorry ladies, we're not ready for audience members yet' and Adam said 'no, these are my guests' and they said 'of course, go ahead....' he walked us through the dress circle, down the left hand side into the corridor and through a keycoded locked door down to the stall area.

We could see the children rehearsing their positions on the empty stage and everything!!

Anyway, the dress circle view was excellent and the upper circle I'm sure will be too as, like I say, quite a small theatre.

slayerette · 15/07/2007 22:44

We're in dress circle - or we'd better be, the money I've just forked over to multi-millionnaire ALW

Glad to hear about the view, binkle; we'll have ds with us so needed good seats. Can't believe I have 9 months to wait - it's weird, isn't it? Tried loads of earlier dates but there were no good seats.

Hope this thread's still around, or I'll have to start it up again and drag you all back to tell you about it!

binkleandflip · 15/07/2007 22:59

Just had a horrible realisation that I am beginning to do a "Kanga' - been to the theatre once and acting like I'm an expert on the whole layout of it - I apologise

LoonyLyraLovegood · 15/07/2007 23:03

Hey, you know more than we do. That makes you an expert (for now).
When are you seeing the show again? Do you think you'll enjoy it as much a second time? Will you be able to manage without your butler?
