Oggs, he is very cute when doing the 'not speaking egyptian' he kind of shouted it out just before disappearing through the door. For some reason a little lit-up model of the london eye goes past in the background as the camel is dragging him along .
He does seems to be very focussed and in some parts where I though he would do more expression he didnt ie Instead of singing to the brothers he was standing stock still facing the audience, but I imagine he'll relax into it and loosen up a bit and the same with the prison scene with the baker/butler. Dont get me wrong, he was fab throughout and will be nice to see next month if he has noticeably got comfortable in the role.
When he revealed himself he has a sparly head-dress on which covers all his hair and he kind of bows his head and slips off forward so his hair springs out and you think - yup! that's our Lee alright!!
He does some fairly sexy scowling when he's being princely - during the Benjamin calypso one of the brothers tries to pull on him arm and he kind of jerks it away very masterfully - this is probably the part when Lee is most like he was in the TV prog.
And yes Berrie, I totally could imagine it
The freestyle megamix bit at the end when he could grin and dance about as himself was clearly the bit he seemed to really enjoy - and of course, he got a standing ovation - he was beeming as you'd expect.
Back to the Pharoah bit, the Pharoah did an extra song on stage after his bit with Joseph - Elvis style but not an Elvis song - not sure why as it didnt seem to have any relevance to the story - perhaps they had a lot to do backstage and it killed some time.
