Am I the only one to find it a tad ironic to see the very middle-aged Mssrs le Bon & Taylor jumping around singing "Wild Boys"...

I always wonder when artists change their most popular songs when they perform them live. Surely people want to hear their favourite tracks the way they remember them. Or is that just me?

willywonka · 01/07/2007 17:34

Same here LL...the waiting is interminable

Do the upper classes have no rhythm or is it simply that they grow old before their time? They look like a group of Geography teachers on a night out...apologies to any Geography teachers out there!!

I think they are just old before their time. Royal kids have to know about stuff that no normal person under 60 would be interested in!

I'm sure it's very clever but I really don't get ballet.

There's a funny story in Bob Geldof's autobiography about Prince Charles at Live Aid.

Status Quo were on and Charles told Geldof he'd been told he had a good sense of rhythm when he was a kid. All the while, he claps entirely out of time.

Think we're all waiting to see if Robbie's going to join TT on stage.

just walked in to see my 2 boys mesmerised by the ballet - DS1 (nearly 4) told me the dancers are so cute and beautiful!

Not sure that is the effect they are aiming for

willywonka · 01/07/2007 17:53

Glad to hear that someone's enjoying the show!

OP posts:
jenk1 · 01/07/2007 17:55

i thought that was beautiful.

tigerschick · 01/07/2007 17:58

Loved the ballet. My neighbour popped round and I rushed her out so I didn't miss too much. Better go and apologise soon!

tigerschick · 01/07/2007 18:01

Oh and on the Princes - it must be really hard to properly enjoy themselves when they know that so many people are watching and, let's face it, judging them.

My observations about posh people dancing are more directed towards their entourage, who aren't even in time with each other let alone what's on stage.

Absolutely LL - and they are ambassadors - not only for the Royal Family but also for the Army - they can't just let rip. They look like they're having a great time to me anyway.

I am loving the whole thing !

MrsFish · 01/07/2007 18:08

Do you reckon all the empty seats are because people don't want to travel there because of all the terrorist stuff that has been going on?

ash6605 · 01/07/2007 18:08

Just realised this is on!!have I missed much?wonder if it's repeated at some point??

McDreamy · 01/07/2007 18:10

Is Jamie wearing a tank top?
