Just watching Serena match back on video. I've seen her outfit in photos but seeing it moving in the flesh, as it were, wtf?!!! Jeez, it's horrendous and so unflattering! Has she actually looked in the mirror?!

Why is the female commentator saying it's amazing how Serena is keeping it together mentally (when she is 5-4 up in 3rd set? Surely, it should be Plishkova who should be commended for coming back and saving 4 match points?

Martinez played Davenport in the match I got to see when I went to Wimbledon in 1994 .

Was that the year she won it Raahh? I think she did coach Muguruza for a while.

I liked Pouille's comments about Amelie after the match.

Private I think it was- she beat Martina.

Her win over Martina, in terms of age, kind of echoed Garbine's win over Venus in 2017, iirc.

DS was up ridiculously early, so we're just watching Osaka v Pliskova (well - he's reading Harry Potter really...)

Pliskova is a set down but suddenly picking up the pace. It must have been tricky to come back just the day after beating Serena - stupid scheduling. Nicole Kidman is sitting next to Anna Wintour - not sure who they are here with/for though. I wonder if they'll stay for Rafa?

Morning! wondered about the scheduling yesterday. None of the men's matches will mean they have to come back without a day off, will they? ( haven't checkec ahead)How did it happen with the women? ).

Yes the roof's closed I'm afraid - heat policy. They might open it for the night match, if it's cools down??

Very torn in the Kvitova/Osaka match- again I would have happily had this as the final and been happy with the result.

Both deserve it , for different reasons.
