Hope it's OK for me to start a new thread - could not believe we'd burned out on the last one.

Am looking forward to seeing highlights of the Fed/Tits match later.

(Don't think he did though).

PrivateParkin · 22/01/2019 11:58

Well, he didn't put a foot wrong there, did he? Well played Rafa.

Lol at Incredible India Grin that ad is so unrealistic. Yoga on a motorbike? That is not my idea of a holiday.

Raahh · 22/01/2019 11:58

Mac's smartened up a bit .

JaneJeffer · 22/01/2019 11:58

Stupid camera person! I don't want to see an extreme close-up of Big Foe's bag Angry

Raahh · 22/01/2019 11:58

Mine either, Private Grin

PrivateParkin · 22/01/2019 12:00

Ah I love Rafa's interviews

PrivateParkin · 22/01/2019 12:00

Steady on Mac Grin

Raahh · 22/01/2019 12:02

Stefanos could be trouble.

But Rafa has looked so good.

Raahh · 22/01/2019 12:02

'I can't tell you nothing '

or
'Get lost'

Grin
Raahh · 22/01/2019 12:04

The fact he can change something so fundamental to his game at his stage in his career, says a lot really. Not many can.

magimedi · 22/01/2019 12:05

Vamos Rafa!

It was 71 when I first went to Wimbledon, Raahh - I'd forgotten she'd won twice! I was 16.

(So I'm still not that much older than you Grin ).

I'm making no predictions about that semi as I'm bound to be wrong.

Simon Briggs on the radio is just saying Nadal v Tsitsipas ' single handed backhand should work in Rafas favour.

Raahh · 22/01/2019 12:08

Magi no, you are not!

And you are only as old as the Canadian you are lusting over GrinWink

PrivateParkin · 22/01/2019 12:11

He also called the Rafa - Mac interviews a bromance. Not sure rafa would agree - he looks like he can't get out of there fast enough Grin

Raahh · 22/01/2019 12:14

Private Rafa never seems that impressed by Mac. Not surprisingly, really- he's probably heard him commentating on his matches (Mac is definitely a Fed fan).

Maybe Rafa should have tried out Mac's theory on whether something hurts if you press hard enough? Grin

PrivateParkin · 22/01/2019 12:32

Grin definitely! "Lets see how you like this, Johnny!" Grin

PrivateParkin · 22/01/2019 14:04

Tiafoe Grin love it

JaneJeffer · 22/01/2019 14:08

Cats! Is he from the 1950's? Grin

PrivateParkin · 22/01/2019 14:11

Grin that just made me laugh so much

Raahh · 22/01/2019 14:32

Cats!Grin

Ahh, Tiafoe and his pickle juice.

Fizzywinegum · 22/01/2019 16:48

Managed to avoid the score and this thread and just watched the match now. I left work early because of the snow that was forecast which didn’t materialise (but really wanted to watch the tennis!)

Rafa looked pretty impressive - Tiafoe seemed a bit overwhelmed but I enjoyed watching him - he needed more pickle juice Grin

I’ve got a feeling that the Rafa/Tsitsipas match will be the night match so on Thursday am here so I won’t be able to watch again Sad. Think that will be a much closer match.

I don’t think there’s much of a bromance between Rafa and mac (apart from Mac admiring rafas abs).

JaneJeffer · 22/01/2019 17:16

All the players have a look of fear when John questions them Grin

Raahh · 22/01/2019 17:27

Now, Mac definitely couldn't ever have got away with a sleeveless top.

Well, he could have worn one, but he would have looked like he needed a knotted hanky on his head to go with it. Grin

JaneJeffer · 22/01/2019 17:29

I don't think it would have fit on top of all those curls Grin

Raahh · 22/01/2019 17:39

Probably not Grin, it's why I never wear one.

(also- Christmas cracker hats Grin).
