I don't know what I'm expecting but investing in a cleaning business seems pretty dull - there must be loads of them he could invest in - I wonder what this one has to offer that is different.

What's with the Christmas episode next week? I thought this was filmed in the summer?

Crystalblue13 · 29/11/2018 11:32

I hope Daniel wins

ChippingIn · 29/11/2018 11:48

Yes it was filmed earlier in the year, but they know when it’s going to be on the tele.

If Daniel it’ll be a travesty.

Baking101 · 29/11/2018 11:50

Yeah but they were trying to sell Christmas chocolates to people on the street and it looked like there were decorations up. Just seemed odd but I guess it was the editing.

I can't believe I didn't know there was a thread!

I think Khadija is awful - she's pushy, aggressive and chippy. I would use worse adjectives if she was male Grin. Tbh, I never seem to rate many of the candidates since I've been watching this Blush. I like Sabrina's enthusiasm, and Daniel is basically a wide boy (a sort that often appeals to AS tbf). Poor old Tom was on borrowed time, though - I thought Jackie stitched him up like a kipper: she's clearly very bright and capable, but my goodness, she was manipulative!

I think this is probably Daniel's to lose - Sabrina, the nutmilk one and the solicitor are pretty much in the last chance saloon already, and Sian... Depends on her business plan, I think - I haven't warmed to her, but she's far and away the most competent and professional of the remaining women. I assume, though, people are selected also on their screen tests and potential for "good TV" as much as business potential.

GhostSauce · 29/11/2018 19:17

I'm now watching it on catch up. I kind of want the spin scrubber.

dillite · 29/11/2018 19:18

I often wonder, manipulative people, are they aware of the fact that they manipulate those around them?

Surely in Jackie's case she must have known? It seems so blatant (though that could be as it was edited that way, I suppose) that I think someone with the tiniest tinge of self-awareness would realise how they were behaving. Or maybe not - I suppose it might depend on how ingrained manipulation was in someone's character?

ElusiveButterfly · 29/11/2018 22:45

I really like Sabrina and hopes she makes it to the interviews at least. Who do you think won't make it? I think Sian and Daniel will, I think the other three are in trouble though.

AnotherPidgey · 29/11/2018 23:20

Sabrina reminds me a lot of Alannah who won in a previous series. Partly her looks, but also the type that pipes up with pertinent comments but consistently gets shut down as being disruptive.

A lot will come down to personalities that LS can work with now, as well as their business model. I had thought that Jacquie would last until the interviews before being ripped apart by the likes of Claude.

Tom's was a mercy firing. It was inevitable and at least he was spared being torn apart in the cafe prior to being torn apart in the board room.

Daniel's been growing on me as the type that mucks in and plays along with a good effort at everything.
