I do wonder why they are just dumping Noel
in there, late, on his own.
Strange choice.
I read (on here) that they’re paying him 600K - is that more or less than the others get, I have no idea.
If more, it’s not really fair that he should also get to do a week less than the others! Also may explain why there’s only one going in - budget won’t stretch to 2 divas!
If less, understandable that he is doing less time there.

OutragedEtc · 21/11/2018 22:42

I thought she seemed far more relaxed and happier on tonight’s show

Calzone · 21/11/2018 22:44

CakeNinja.....Malique is allegedly getting £15k.

According to the Fail they have ditched the other sleb as Noel is so expensive.

whatsthestory123 · 21/11/2018 22:49

its only the same as BB they all get paid really by popularity or in the Media men get paid loads more as we now know

rosetulip · 21/11/2018 22:59

I think the money is the biggest motivator for most of them. Ann will certainly need the money. I read that before The Chase she was on benefits in danger of losing her house.

I want to like Nick but i keep thinking of all the times he gets a mention on those nasty celeb threads.

Wednesdaypig · 21/11/2018 23:04

They are going to implement the divisive crap they do on BB. Noel is going to be the emperor in charge of the camp and exempt from trials and jobs. He'll select an elite group who are also exempt from trials and I think they can make the other campmates do stuff. This is what was said on Extra Camp. Awful stuff.

rosetulip · 21/11/2018 23:06

Noel Edmunds can’t be going in for the money, he’s apparently worth £75 million. How much do some people want.

whatsthestory123 · 21/11/2018 23:07

of course the biggest motivator is money and the jump in their career after that also entails money

lets not kid ourselves

thats why i think its unfair if one gets exckuded from the trials alot

Stanley last year not sure how many and Anne at the moment 2 out of three i think

she has been sat down all the time so far,if she dosent start helping in camp peoples sympathys will be tested (unless she is but they are not showing it which would be wrong)

BatF1nk · 21/11/2018 23:14

@Babbas - describing a woman with autism as a 'dramatic lazy slob' is rather unkind don't you think?

SillySallySingsSongs · 21/11/2018 23:22

she has been sat down all the time so far

You see a minute amount of 24hrs.

VerbeenaBeeks · 21/11/2018 23:27

Only went in for the money! FFS, I bet most (or all of them!) did! Grin I mean, come off it. A few hundred grand - "hello, Verbena, do you want to earn that, might be a few creepy crawlies or eating kangaroo bum?!" Me, ooh, erm, arrgh, oh go on then Grin

ScoobyGangMember · 21/11/2018 23:27

Wednesdaypig, that's just what I was thinking they'd do. Happy camp will soon be but a memory.

CakeNinja · 21/11/2018 23:28

Blimey, not even I’d go in there for 15K! Mind you, I’m absolutely cripplingly terrified of bugs of all descriptions so I wouldn’t go in for 650K either, not a chance in hell!
I don’t know how they can sit down and look relaxed without sheer terror that something’s going to crawl up their legs, or drop out of a tree on them.
I cringe when I see them sitting in that shed thing talking to the camera, thinking about a deadly spider creeping under the chair they’re sitting on. Baffling!

VerbeenaBeeks · 21/11/2018 23:31

Plus seriously unfair to say slob, well out of order. I don't suffer from autism, but I do know that it is hard sometimes to focus your thoughts and get overwhelmed. She's doing damn fine just being in there in the first place. Even thinking what you need to do next can be a struggle, never mind all the constant change of scenery with camp and people and challenges.

WhyAmISoCold · 21/11/2018 23:39

I have aspergers and I'm enjoying seeing someone bring it into the limelight but uncomfortable at the same time.

I would not have been able to do that task at all. Being covered in slime etc would have sent me over the edge.

When she's sitting there surrounded by virtual strangers, I think it looks like she's shutting down. Not all autistics meltdown, some shut down. I think it's how she's coping as it doesn't look like she's getting a break from being surrounded by people. I need downtime and time away from anyone else. I bet Anne does too.

WhyAmISoCold · 21/11/2018 23:40

I think calling her a lazy slob is extremely ignorant and slightly offensive.

dontalltalkatonce · 22/11/2018 00:01

She probably only went in for the money.

She's an adult of sound mind. Why shouldn't she be there? She knew what she was in for and wanted the challenge. What a shitty post. They're all getting fees, why is she any different? She's not struggling any more than the likes of some of the total drama llamas who went in there.

BatF1nk · 22/11/2018 00:08

Oh this thread is full of shitty posts / if some posters aren't slagging off women's appearances, they're focussing their vitriol on Anne having autism

dontalltalkatonce · 22/11/2018 00:15

Exactly, Bat, which Anne in no way brought up herself but was happy to discuss when it was brought up. Anne wasn't diagnosed until she was 45. She's 60. She's a highly intelligent person, I'm pretty sure she knows what she needs to do to cope as much as any other person who's been in there before or after and does not expect to be accommodated and she is perfectly capable of calling time on the whole thing if and when she feels she needs to Hmm.

dontalltalkatonce · 22/11/2018 00:31

Ann will certainly need the money. I read that before The Chase she was on benefits in danger of losing her house.

Oh, must be true, then Hmm. I'm sure she'll be out busking after this. Funny, Knowles cheated on his wife but let's all focus on Anne and her autism.

dontalltalkatonce · 22/11/2018 00:37

JK Rowling was on benefits, too, and put up in a council flat. But she was really writing for nothing, you know, no one ever does a job for money. Hmm

rosetulip · 22/11/2018 00:56

donttalkallatonce what on earth are you implying, i mentioned Anne’s money’s problems because i’d just read about them, and i thought it was interesting Confused.... I wasn’t being critical of her in any way ffs, quite the opposite. I’m pleased she’s on a good earner. What on earth is wong with being on benefits? Does every comment about a woman have to balanced with a comment about a man? Fwiw i didn’t know about Nick Knowles, but to talk about that would be a criticism, there was no criticism of Ann. Stop looking for criticism when there isn’t any, i’m over the fucking moon that someone skint is making money, unlike greedy Edmunds. You’ve got me totally wrong, but well done for twisting what i said.

rosetulip · 22/11/2018 00:58

There’s always fucking one isn’t there.

rosetulip · 22/11/2018 01:02

Let’s talk about Knowles’s adultery, donttalkallatonce, you seem to. know so much about it.

VerbeenaBeeks · 22/11/2018 01:15

Agreed, there's some crappy posts on here.
Good on Anne for getting in there, she's doing great, even though it must be hard for her. I don't give a shit what she's wearing, she can wear what the hell like she likes (some charming comment on FB I saw tonight telling her to maybe cover up a little bit) why the hell should she?!
Winds me up. Wear what you like! As for her having financial problems, I wouldn't know but if true going in the jungle is a no brainer.
