It wasn't the same without Ant. Holly just stands there and giggles so there is no proper banter at all.

I agree with the PP who commented that she is presenting Im a celebrity in the same way she always presents This Morning.

Also, her voice grates on me. It sounds like she's got such a scratchy voice, it sounds like her voice is about to give up completely at the end of every sentence. Which is why it comes out as a squeak. I read somewhere it's down to her smoking but I'm not sure.

Of all the people they could have chosen to double up with Dec, Why on earth did they pick Holly??

The humour and the banter between the presenters is a big part of the show.

They had to pick someone who wouldn't be perceived as a threat to Ant's position. Holly has a successful career already and doesn't 'need' this. She's kind of doing a favour for a mate keeping his seat warm until he gets back. If they'd put a less successful, more fame-hungry person there, who would live a permanent place in the line-up as a career boost, it would have felt very different.

Just seen a teaser of tonight's trial if holly ruins them all by screaming and being all attention seeking I will not be happy

I missed Ant too. He and Dec are very funny together when they talk about the contestants. They kind of bounced off each other. You don’t get that with HW. Strange replacement choice, they should have gone for someone with a more ready wit.
