I love the statue of Alan Turing near Canal Street, Manchester. He is sat on bench. With an apple at his feet.

There's also a really cool statue of Lowry in restaurant in town, where he is sat , propping up the bar. Sam's Chop house, should any of you ever feel the need to visit.

I like unusual statues, not just ones on plinths.
