Not sure what was going with Faye 's hair and make up, it looked like a child had gotten hold of mum's make up bag.
Even though I adore Giovanni I didn't like his outfit.

I thought Ashley was exceptional. Great dance.
Swanny 's danced well but it was a very simple dance.
I feel for Lauren and AJ and think he seemed to struggle with her arm a bit this week.
I think the dance off might be between Kate and Lauren this week.

Re Karens first 10...I just checked and she got to the final with Mark without getting a single 10, and IIRC she hasnt had any other decent partners? Amazed it's taken her this long.

Karen was with Nicky from Westlife, whatever series that was. He did quite well. Ended up 9th boot, or something. I think Will was supposed to be her big chance.

Wasn’t overly thrilled at this years Blackpool week. Loved Charles but all the extra dancers were an unwelcome distraction.

Wonder how this correlates to the public vote.

If the number of votes are in the same order as the number of views, then we can potentially have Kate and Lauren in the DO.

AJ held Lauren very close to him after their results, repeating how proud he is of her. He seems very protective of her which is lovely.

Kate has been the lowest number of views for several weeks now as well as being low on the judges' leaderboard but hasn't been in a dance off yet. So I think that we can assume that her fans are less likely to be YouTube watchers than the fans of some other celebs.

I think that it will be Graeme and Lauren in the dance off HOWEVER this is an interesting week because there are three celebs in second position, meaning that the points from the judges' scores run from 8 to 3, but the viewers votes will still score from 8 to 1. There could be a surprise person in the dance off. The middle of the leaderboard is traditionally a dangerous place to be, but when there are a lot of people with the same score it effectively makes second place to be in the middle. For instance if Charles gets the lowest public vote (scoring 1) then his total score will be 8. It wouldn't be impossible for, say, Lauren to get 2 points from the public for a total of 5, Kate to get 5 points for a total of 9 and Graeme to get 4 points for a total of 9. In that case Charles and Lauren would be in the dance off. Having several couples with the same judges' score can really destabilise the scoring system.

I wonder whether Ashley will suffer the same fate as Alexandra Burke, of being in two consecutive dance offs despite being top of the leader board.

She is very professional, but I am not sure how whether she is getting the votes because of how good she is.
