The last part of the episode with the truck hitting Ray was quite a shock (hence my googling like crazy trying to find if he was really dead!)

Anyways, what happens is that you see Ray about to be run over, then nothing happens, he walks a bit more, drops the phone and looks into the lights of the incoming truck. Pleanty of white light (while you are thinking, RAY!!! don't look into the light!!!! and then, next scene (all with a very melodramatic music as a background) all the people of the ER are sitting for a group shot at the end of the party and congratulating the couple, Ray is sitting at the front very smiley and definitively not drunk, even when he left the party long before it finished....

But I might be getting it wrong, as I missed the first part of the program!

No, it was an accident (ray was drunk, almost sitting in the middle of the road!) but I think the other girl blames Neela for it, because Ray got drunk in his disapointment of seeing Gates and Neela apparently making up, and got asked to leave the party when he challenged gates about it.

I think Katie is just jealous...
