New thread when you're ready..

The assault conviction was 10 years ago Ozzy.

derxa · 09/11/2018 10:07

The thing that makes me think there's something in the idea that there's tension between DJJ and Amy is that he often imitates her Welsh accent. Speaking as a Scot who's often had this done to me, it's as irritating as fuck. Give it up Danny.

xsquared · 09/11/2018 10:18

Does he often imitate her Welsh accent? I've only seen it once on ITT.

Anyway, it doesn't look as if he's lost many fans judging by the Twitter comments.

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 09/11/2018 11:05

Were they one ITT together last night? I wasn't paying attention admittedly.

Miscible · 09/11/2018 13:03

I've seen reports that DJJ is known to as a lovely bloke to work with on the set of Death in Paradise. It seems unlikely that he's had a character transplant.

What could the DM possibly have against DDJ? I think it's the Sun's story

Murdoch Press, hey? That makes all the difference

derxa · 09/11/2018 13:13

Murdoch Press, hey? That makes all the difference Just pointing out the facts. All these stories are jumped up rubbish imo

Figgygal · 09/11/2018 13:21

I knew about rip it up but I hadn't known that Jay was going to be in I've previously it was Aston and Harry and Louis if Jay is in it I am in

Clawdy · 09/11/2018 13:22

Sadly, the Daily Mirror has the story too. I guess there has to be a grain of truth in it somewhere.........tomorrow's show is going to be interesting.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 09/11/2018 13:27

The Radio Times has a less dramatic version of the same story. There is clearly something there, but possibly not as much as the journalists are making out. It reminds of the stories coming out about Daisy Lowe before the first week of the show that she wasn't getting along with Aljaz and she was in tears all the time. Of course it later turned out that her grandmother had died and that's why she was crying.

SoupDragon · 09/11/2018 13:50

Yes, the Radio Times calls it a "minor disagreement" and says DJJ is not on any sort of "final warning"

dontcallmelen · 09/11/2018 15:44

Hmm, like DJJ Twitter response.

ManonBlackbeak · 09/11/2018 16:12

Strictly have showed arguments between some pros and celeb partner before. Remember James Jordan and Georgina? It ruined his reputation on Strictly, but really she was a lazy cow and he put her right. Allegedly Oti and Johnny Weir had beef because he'd been late a few for training a few times, but it's was never shown.

I wonder if maybe Danny would have been better suited to a stricter female pro? Someone like Ola Jordan or Erin Boag would have better suited him. Pairing him with Amy always seemed an odd choice.

xsquared · 09/11/2018 16:25

Manon do you mean Johnny Peacock?
She was very patient with him, but following her on Instagram, I got the impression that it was a regular occurrence and looked very let down at times.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 09/11/2018 17:49

In the early days all the temperament seemed to come from the dancers. The first pro/sleb bust up I can remember was Brendan Cole with Sarah Manners. He was really horrible to and about her.

I don't think it added anything to the entertainment to show the dancers bringing their partners to tears and arguing the toss with the judges. Presumably the producers thought so too.

Watching ITT this interview will be interesting

Wolfcub · 09/11/2018 18:35

Swanny has lost a lot of weight

MyMumDimensionJumps · 09/11/2018 18:36

Hmm, think that the DJJ stories are a load of bollocky bullshit dreamed up by desperate tabloids incapable of writing about real news.

I wish they'd just fuck off and leave this show alone without trying to influence the votes. They should just stick to doing this for shows like Towie and BB where people actually care about this sort of mind-numbing gossip and not get involved in family shows.

I'm going to have to vote DJJ X3 now just to make a point against these newspapers.

dontcallmelen · 09/11/2018 18:48

Wolf I was just thinking the same, it’s quite noticeable.

thenightsky · 09/11/2018 18:53

Michael Bolton's face doesn't move, apart from his jaw when speaking. DH said he's an aged Max Headroom.

Theknacktoflying · 09/11/2018 18:56

MB is 65 years old .... Shock

All together ... how can we be lovers, if we can’t be friends ....

Figgygal · 09/11/2018 19:02

The knack I will hear your "how can we be lovers, if we can't be friends" with "can I touch you there? Touch you deep inside" .......well no actually Michael I'd really rather you didn't

Anyone seen this?

Michael Bolton looked embalmed on ITT. Martin Kemp and Brian Conley completely carried that panel

Theknacktoflying · 09/11/2018 19:09
Grin

65!! ... I feel so old .... the long permed hair, the double denim ....

OzzyMadBat · 09/11/2018 19:10

Yes I know TQ I assume you mean the copy-paste job...I didn't want to link to the Star is all. It's from March 22nd 2009, the charges were quashed on appeal same month. Which is why it's poor form that the tabloids keep referring to it. Way more reported the original charges and conviction than the appeal and the quashing as well, and describing someone discussing institutionalised racism as going on a rant is also out of order.

OzzyMadBat · 09/11/2018 19:14

Aw, I missed Michael Bolton Grin
