My Dh won't wear his hearing aids, so I am forever repeating myself, but gets a bit narky if I take my glasses off and start bleating" ooh can you tell me what that says? Where's the whatsit" etc.

Another partially deaf person here who hasn’t got hearing aids - yet - def do not want obvious ones though.
Rhuma is being super-annoying about it - I’ve never though dh would leave me cos I’m half deaf ffs.

I'm sure there must be something more to Ruhma's sudden hearing loss. Yet another slightly "off" storyline with sexual favours being bartered for a roof over your head. Did you notice AL's bobbly jumper? No hiding place with HD. What exactly is it about Ruhma? If another actress delivered her lines, would she still be as irritating a character?

P.s. subtitles are especially useful for something like "The Sopranos" where you can't catch every word
