Is anyone still watching Grey’s? I thought the opener was supposed to be a two parter but looks like sky witness is only showing one. Grrr. Anyone else excited? I still miss Cristina etc but will always watch!

Yes the British woman was awful. And I've no idea what the purpose of that storyline was at all. Surely there could have been another way to shoehorn in her comment to Jo about "the worst happened and I'm ok". Just awful.

I agree, the whole storyline was exasperating - and the thing with her therapist being seized four seconds after they landed in a private aircraft because of "questions about his visa" was ludicrous

And couldn't they have taken her blood in the aircraft and lifted / blue lighted it to the airport? Or airlifted her to the airport, given that they were on an airstrip?

It was just so ill thought out and annoying and exasperating!

In both cases here "airport" = "hospital"

Quimreaper - Owen did try to take blood in the plane but she had this ridiculous story about how her mum told her she was too precious to get hurt or something, so she was too scared to allow the big needle near her. Which she neatly didn't mention at all by the time she got to hospital And I think the hospital landing strip thing is just for helicopters, I don't think planes are able to land on them.

Not sure why I'm defending the storyline though because it was, as you say exasperating!

This whole season has been so... off. I really miss Arizona and April. The interns are all fine but aside from Glasses, they are all just bit parts, and not fleshed out at all. Too much research and not enough medical action going on. Too much ridiculous back and forth between Owen-Teddy-Amelia. All so unconvincing.

The only really good episode was the one where Jo meets her mother.

music I remember that whole shpiel but i didn't even realise it was to do with own trying to take her blood on the plane! Why was it ok in the hospital but on the plane then?!

With regards to the helicopter thing, I was wondering why they didn't send the helicopter to the airstrip to pick her up. She'd still have had to be persuaded off the plane, but once off, they'd have had her blood within ten minutes. Since every second counted at that point, driving her seemed barmy, especially as there is NO WAY they would have had no warning WHATSOEVER of the inclement weather

That episode definitely didn't seem worthy of a season finale.
I hate that Teddy didn't think to let Ally McBeal man know she was in labour, just wait til he's sorted the baby furniture before dumping him. Owen is not worth all the heartache and drama.
I won't be bothered if Jackson or Maggie are never seen again after wandering off in the fog and luke others can't understand why a felony fraud was Meredith's only option.
As they've said every episode next season will overlap with station 19 does that mean I have to watch both as apart from a few good episodes this season, I'm not sure it's worth it. Used to love this show but this season has been disappointing.

I've just bought the private practise box set to binge on! I only remember watching a couple of episodes years ago so looking forward to it now all my series have finished for a while!

I love greys but private practise the ending was just awful I thought. I loved private practise up until the end

But then I suppose tv shows hardly ever have decent endings that please everyone

I don't know anything about it really other than that Addison is in it so will give it a whirl. No spoilers lol!

Teddy should honestly leave Owen alone. He's so toxic. He's been toxic with every girlfriend/wives he's had. Berated Cristina for having an abortion, guilt tripped Amelia for not wanting another child and now that he has a biological child, it's all heart eyes for him. I don't understand why his sister keeps encouraging it too.
