Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 UK thread

Is anyone still watching Grey’s? I thought the opener was supposed to be a two parter but looks like sky witness is only showing one. Grrr. Anyone else excited? I still miss Cristina etc but will always watch!

I like Koracik. Owen and Teddy is just wrong - he is supposed to be with Christina.
Maggie and Jackson have zero chemistry. I like DeLuca - think Derek was a knob and Meredith could have done better, which DeLuca certainly is!
Shona has lost the plot - big mistake writing out April and do hurriedly as well. It's left Jackson in limbo, since they were meant to end up together. Callie and Arizona are big losses too. There are too many old characters being lost before we have bonded properly with the new ones.
Loathe Catherine Avery/Fox. Hideous woman with no redeeming qualities. Wtf is Richard doing with her?

I still think a large truck might take out Maggie, especially when she’s standing in the middle of the road in the fog.
Was it wrong to hope they were going to be attacked and eaten by a bear during that trek through the woods?
Maybe the bear will get Jackson and the truck will get Maggie!

Watched the finale today. Very odd between Maggie and Jackson. Ok we get it, she doesn't like camping. Is it that big a deal?

Poor koracik putting the crib together.

I think Deluca is like a very young derek, maybe that's why she is with him?

Meredith should be with Alex.

Someone said upthread why did Meredith not just pay for the operation on the little girl herself? Does she not have shares in the hospital or something? Does Grey Sloan not do charitable ops?

I also wondered why they didn't just do it 'pro bono' & I'm pretty such Meredith part owns the hospital Confused

I think Maggie is probably the safest cast member - doubt they can kill off yet another member of Meredith's family. She has to be the unluckiest woman in the world! If I was DeLuca I'd be scared Wink

Please break up Maggie and Jackson!! Poor koracik (sp?), found that a bit heartbreaking and don't see the attraction with Owen at all. Never liked Alex, can't see that changing. Not like Bailey not to cop what really happened re insurance!

Watched the final last night.

Really feel saddened by the Koracick storyline, I think Teddy should have told him, I think he's going to be heartbroken. I don't like Owen.

I'm glad Amelia is taking a chance with Link.

Too many pretty boys in it at the moment. Out of the new crop of doctors, they’ve focused on Linc, and the gay couple, whose names escape me, is one of them Andrew? And Schmidt? They all look like they they should be models or ironically actors, it’s a stretch to think that with their looks they’d choose to become doctors. And we hardly know the women at all. The one in the hijab and the one with a little weight, again, don’t know their names because we hardly bloody see them on screen!
Feel sorry for Amelia,,not for Koracic, can’t stand him!

Seriously. Owen's all ok now? And Amelia is gaslighting herself into really believing she was the crazy one? Nah it's ridiculous.

We need more of Alex being Alex. They forget characters for weeks at a time. No ones who they are .

It's like watching complete strangers.

Pick a path and stick to it.

Maybe the writers/producers got lazy - Shonda went off to play with her new toy and forgot about those of us who have invested years into Grey's.

I am very late to the party but need to vent.

Love Koracick and Teddy - really peeved she wants to get with Owen, who is very meh.
Do not understand Mer and De Luca, not interested in the slightest.
Really like Amelia and Linc together. I want Amelia to have a happy ending! (I loved her in Private Practice)
Can’t stand Jackson and Maggie together. Jackson is a dream but I feel like he’s never had chemistry with any of the people he’s been paired with.

I’m only watching it because I’m too far in, this series (and the past few) have been awful aside from a few good episodes - thought the consent one was great.

I started Series 1 again the other day, I miss Addison! Has anyone seen Private Practice on tv anywhere? Would love to watch it again

I hear you. Jackson is a strong character well acted and the actor always looks mildly bewildered at the awful partners he gets landed with.

Addison was a great character, the early seasons were so very good.

I watched the finale tonight and kept waiting on something more dramatic to happen. Even Jackson vanishing had no buildup or tension at all. Just very obvious signposting that something was going to happen. Not even a hint as to what has happened to him, therefore no real interest piqued.
Bailey would have sussed re the insurance fraud for sure.
Why didn't they just operate then worry about the consequences later, eg blaming an admin error, rather than committing fraud?
I'm not invested in any of it any more. It just disagreed have the same oomph or drama or....something any more. I don't know what's missing, but it's huge.

This season was such a mess. The only remotely interesting moment I can remember was when Jackson confronted Jo about coming into work drunk.

Also I can't work out why Jo went so completely to pieces. She knew she'd been given up at birth, she must have wondered why, and surely this was a pretty predictable reason and a pretty predictable outcome to finding her mother? It's not that uncommon a story, but she seems to have literally never considered it. It just didn't ring true to her whole "pragmatic, unflinching, hard as nails" early characterisation.

The "British" agoraphobic woman scenes were painful. And there was something off about the chemistry between Generically Named Korean Guy and Glasses. I always wondered why they had so many lesbian characters and no male gay ones, turns out they can't pull it off for some reason.
