Really looking forward to a new episode and seeing how it goes live.

Not sure it was the best idea to watch this just before bed. Much scarier than Doctor Who.

No, Sorry not as good as usual.

A live ep is never going to be as good as usual - it was a Halloween silly - didn't have a full on story.

Like The Simpsons Halloween eps.

We did! Bastards. Looking forward to this and we were gutted when they said it was cancelled. Turned over and DD went for a shower. By the time I read on Twitter that it was still on we had missed about ten minutes.

So annoyed.

And of course it couldn’t possibly have really been live so feel a bit cheated.

I thought it was great. And some very funny moments, that line about getting Pam Ferris!

Dialogue good as ever but I didn't like the plot, not their usual clever twist

Sooo dissappointed !
What telefolk don't seem to grasp is that it makes absolutly no difference to the viewer if the episode is live or recorded.
It may feel edgy to the participants, but the viewer couldn't care less if you did it 1 take or 45 takes.....all we care about is the story.
There just wasn't one.
Rubbish.
Garbage.
I won't desert you as I know you are capable of so much more than this.
Stop the gimmicks and get back to clever story telling.

It wasn't the best episode ever but was certainly a good homage to Ghostwatch - the thought of which still scares me even though I knew it wasn't real.

Entertaining if not that scary!

I loved it lots of references to older 70s and 80s tv and the Granada studios tv ghost 'stories' wish it was on for longer think they could have really played with this

Studenty self indulgent rubbish. I usually really like inside number 9 but wasn't impressed by this. We were taken in by the technical hitches though and nearly gave up and went to bed.

Late to the thread but I really enjoyed it. Liked the references in it and it had me shouting at the tv... though that may also be down to the Looking forward to the new series!

Really enjoyed that episode . The phone number was Pop’s from league of gentlemen !
I met RS briefly after the LOG show , he was nice but very shy compared to the others. Mark Gatiss was just lovely though.

Also, great seeing Tony Wilson on Granada Reports!

I enjoyed it, just about managed to stop DH turning over when the sound "went".

The live bits were live, when they turned to BBC1 it was showing what was actually on, the news, live.
Obviously some bits were old recorded TV.
I don't know what this ghost thing is people are referring to.

Glad to hear there's a new series coming though.

I've got all the series on DVD and even in those there's a couple of duds.
