And poor Bernie being shunted by tiff

it would have made sense to mKe the call where she could be overheard by Stu though. As she was alone, it means she must have been actually speaking to a solicitor about it, I can't think who else she would have spoken to.

My gut feeling is still that it's a ruse but it's making less sense now.

I don't think Stu wants to take Mick's place, I think he wants to destroy him. Divorce will accomplish that. He can't take Mick's place and confess to Linda, that won't work. He can destroy their marriage and then confess though.

The call where nobody heard her was to deliberately confuse viewers and keep us on our toes.

Stu's said before in conversations with Mick that he wants what Mick has, iirc. Think some other of the Carter's have also and that's what Linda's using to her advantage.

That won't make him confess though, quite the opposite surely?. The only thing that works if the writers are making Linda reel him in to get a confession is that he wants to destroy Mick's life. "Ha ha, I've made you destroy everything and mick was innocent!" Ultimate revenge really (unless someone is recording you). But, this is eastenders...!

Kat is a ridiculous caricature of herself. I don't know why they've done it.

He wants the family life, the relationship with Linda, the Vic and when he feels safe getting all that is when Linda will make her move to get the confession, I think.

Kat must be getting into gear for panto season, Seriously, who walks about with their boobs out all the time - even to go to 'work.' She would make a great Ugly Sister or even a panto dame. Or the rear end of a panto horse.

In fact, lets play EE Panto. Who do we think would make an ideal character in a traditional Christmas pantomime? Mo as Mother Goose? Kush as Prince Charming?
