No more than people are unfair to other contestants Clawdy. I'm not sure why you think people are unfair to Charles. He is definitely not the worst dancer but I guess he's not as likeable as some of the other contestants.

The weakest dancer overall went - and week 4 isn't bad.
I watch DWTS, DALS, SYTYCD, WOD so I don't mind the idea of contemporary, musical theatre, jazz....just as long as the eventual winner (Stacey? Faye?) has also demonstrated in the series that they can also dance in hold/have a strong enough ballroom frame.

No - he didn't have a choice - to not address the claim he was emotionally abusive would have damned him too/been taken as an admission (given that paps are scrutinising body language/tweets/insta etc). Defend yourself or stay silent, you'll be (rightly or wrongly) crucified either way.
