I thought most people would know to expect tang ending given that Fox have shown it in their trailers for the last 6 weeks (as well as plastering "Rick's final episodes" everywhere). So gutted that they seem to have given away all the good bits, why?!! The walkers said "where are they" and "don't let them get away". Will be interesting to see how that develops!

I believe the talking walkers are the Whisperers. Not real walkers but people who somehow manage to be amongst them, without getting eaten.

I can't believe Rosalita is shacking up with Gabriel - I was really hoping she and Eugene would end up together. Why are all these women going for Gabriel? I find him sooooo annoying.

Loved the Negan/Judith chat but I feel again somewhat cheated that we have not been able to see him "change" or evolve... If he turns out to have turned over a new leaf (which I'd like to be the case) it will come across as a bit convenient.

But.... I am SOOOOOOO happy about Rick, Jr!! I don't care about the age thing, they've always struggled with consistency anyway. Filming with kids is a PITA as well, because it really constricts your schedule etc.

Apparently Maggie is now out of it for a while as she is in a pay dispute with AMC. Did wonder why Andrew Lincoln never mentioned her in TD last week. Disappointed about this as I really like Maggie!

I’m guessing they’ve gone for smaller/younger kids than the age they’re meant to be so that if there are a few more series they won’t look like they’ve aged too much - like Carl did.

I'd have no issue thinking the boy was 5!! Especially so in a world where food isn't a abundant.

Stripy that's a good point about a child's build when your environment means your not over fed. And if your naturally small. Plus he was in his pyjamas by the looks of things and somehow every kid looks half their age when dressed like that!

Tbh he came across as younger mostly because of the way he talked, he sounded like he was babbling more than talking.

I liked the small details such as the horses and buggies rather than cars. I suppose viable fuel would now be very scarce.

Bit it’s a bit depressing how society as a whole seems as fragmented. No signs of government reforming or any kind of central organisation.

Yes I rewound the last few seconds too! I also thought there looked like some recent dead (or actually now the Whisperers) too.

Not sure what to make of the 6 year jump, it felt so strange after the emotion of last week. I think it would have been better after the mid-season break so we've had a bit of time too.

Really glad to see Carol is still a bad ass. I wonder how long it's been since she's seen Daryl. I agree Michonne wasn't realistic, it's been 6 years.Glad there's a little Richonne. Also enjoyed the Judith and Negan part.

Does anyone else think they will get the radio working and Rick will come on?! He could have pre-recorded it all and we wouldn't have to actually see him. Just hear his voice so they know he's alive?! Looks like the gang are all headed to hilltop to would be a good twist. #wishfullthinking

@Abra1de thing is, I don't think there are enough people to form any kind of central government in that sense. And in a world with such scarce resources, there's still a lot of mistrust - and obviously something else pretty bad happened sometime after Rick's death, hence not letting strangers in.

Yes, I wondered what bad thing had happened in the interim, too.

Still not sure how I feel about the flash forward, but it does seem like we're getting a bit of an explanation of what's happened.

I think Aaron is kind of geared up to maybe take some of Rick's storylines?

I almost don't want to see the Whisperers crop up. There has been so much "war" with the Saviours etc that it's nice to go back to the characters for a bit.
