Oops! Just posted on the old thread and it passed 1000 messages and died. Thought I had better start a new one quick!

OP posts:

You lot are obsessed!! Would you like me to report back after the show in, ooh, 20 days and let you know how it feels in REAL LIFE to be in the same room as the tousled one? (Gloat, gloat etc....)

LyraB · 24/06/2007 22:38

I can't believe I'm going to be the last one to see it (in Sept).
Not fair!!!

BoingBoing · 24/06/2007 22:41

I haven't even got my tickets yet. Payday on Friday....

oggsfrog · 24/06/2007 22:53

Pah. I don't care what you hussies are imagining

He's just taken his tousled curls (which match mine by the way) into the bedroom and is adjusting himself as we speak.

Lyra, have you tried to download any of those MP3 files??? and if so, are they fully downloading for you????

ps. have been thinking of going back to one of my old names after I realised I was treading on yet someone elses toe's.... what do you think of Trillium?

LyraB · 24/06/2007 22:55

Downloaded them all this evening and put them straight on to my iPod. I haven't posted the Leefest yet so if you want I can burn them onto a CD for you and pop it in the envelope. Should only take a minute but I'll have to check that I've got a blank CD first.
Trillium is good. Where does that come from?

binkleandflip · 24/06/2007 23:02

It's from hitchhikers no?

oggsfrog · 24/06/2007 23:08

Have been Trillium before. Is from some SF/Fantasy novels I read once.

It's either that or "Bonnie Darko", which got a lot of compliments.

What do you all think?

There's someone on here called Oooggs, who thinks I'm too similar when I get shortened to Oggs, (she's not being heavy in any way , it's just that I don't want to offend her.)

So I think I must change.

But will you all still recognise me????

LyraB · 24/06/2007 23:34

I like Bonnie Darko.
You could be BonnieDarkoakaOggsfrog for a while to ease the transition.

LyraB · 24/06/2007 23:58

oggs/bonnie/trillium do you want the CD then? I'm off to bed in a minute so it's now or never...

trilllium · 25/06/2007 00:06

Lyra, of course I want the CD......... so I can go walking in the mornings, without the bloody midges......

LyraB · 25/06/2007 09:17

Trilllium, Leefest parts one and two are now in the hands of the Royal Mail so you should get them tomorrow, or Wednesday at the latest.

BoingBoing · 25/06/2007 12:19

Lyra - is there any chance I could grovel enough to get the Leefest cds as well? I'm not sure I'm signed up to be contacted on here, but you could PM me on the forum site?

Obviously, in return (reimbursement aside), I would allow you precedence as far as Lee is concerned, and might even send him back to you on the train when he needs a break from the rural idyll!!! And since you asked, yes he did arrive on the sleeper this morning. Phew, what a morning.....

LyraB · 25/06/2007 12:43

You're on dial-up too aren't you? I wouldn't mind at all copying them for you but I have run out of blanks. Maybe you could send me some blanks if you've got some and I can copy the Leefests and send them to you?
A girl on the other forum apparently has made a DVD of the whole series and people are PMing her to ask for copies. I wouldn't mind having one of those.

BoingBoing · 25/06/2007 12:52

Cool! You're a star! If you can PM me your address, I'll stick a cd in the post. And I'll go for the dvd as well - might as well go for the full set to keep me warm on those long winter nights.....

LyraB · 25/06/2007 12:57

I have PMed you. I'll need a DVD and a CD for the full Leefest experience.

slayerette · 25/06/2007 13:48

Am I the only one who doesn't have tickets AT ALL? And is it any consolation that I have tickets to see JB in panto? Not much, I know...

LyraB · 25/06/2007 16:57

Where is everyone today?
Slayerette, are you not going to buy tickets then? I think there are still some out there if you wanted to go.

slayerette · 25/06/2007 17:45

I thought I was the only one wanting to escape from RL and the rain on our thread! DS supposed to go on trip today with pre-school (although not normally in school today) and I was going to have the Whole Day To Myself. They cancelled the trip But he has been very good, bless him!

We looked at tickets for the dates we wanted to go and there were no seats with really good view left. And because we would've had to take ds, no point in getting ones where he can't see anything because he's in, say. Row N of the gods...

( Hello, oggsfrog! Where're you sitting again?? You do know I'm just because we're not going AT ALL, don't you?!)

LyraB · 25/06/2007 18:04

Is the weather still bad where you are? We had heavy rain this morning but it's dried up now.

slayerette · 25/06/2007 18:08

It's absolutely throwing it down here. DS and I have spent the afternoon playing games and watching nothing happen at Wimbledon on the tv.

Two weeks to go before camping holiday

oggsfrog · 25/06/2007 19:43

Evening all

Lyra, thanks. I'll let you know when they arrive.

Slayer,

Well. I went to try to get the cd today and couldn't find it anywhere , so bought the Jason Donovan cd instead.

Dd and I were singing along as it's got the lyrics to the whole show

LyraB · 25/06/2007 19:52

So you're oggsfrog again? Didn't like the new name?
I do think you should go to the back of the queue for buying Jason Donovan instead of Lee. Tut.

oggsfrog · 25/06/2007 20:12

I like the name bonniedarko in theory (and felt quite pleased with myself for coming up with it ), but it never feels quite right on.
It doesn't quite fit, and it itches.
I feel more comfortable as oggsfrog, so oggsfrog I shall remain

Can't bear to look at the pictures of JD on the cd, and his voice is not a patch on Lee's. The woman who plays the narrator is good (Linzi somebody). I hope Preeya is up to the job.

What shops do stock the Lee cd?

I wish they'd film Lee as Joseph and release the dvd.

binkleandflip · 25/06/2007 21:17

I love that soundtrack CD. Dug it out a couple of wks ago and daughter and I had such a laugh last week when dh was in london - we acted out the whole thing in the kitchen and took turns being Lee taking the coat off one of the also-rans whilst we sang 'close every door'. We improvised with my dressing gown and put a lot of effort into running up the (two) conservatory steps for the big finish in our vests! She's 5 and loves it although she's still a bit peeved Keith didn't win although he's now got a record deal she informed me How the heck did she know that??

LyraB · 25/06/2007 21:36

Ah, it sounds like you and your DD had a lovely time.
My boys weren't into Joseph, they were always getting ready for bed after being allowed to stay up for Dr Who.
