I've only caught the odd episode of Gavin and Stacey when it was originally on but now dh and I are watching it from the start on Netflix.

It's bloody brilliant! Love Nessa and Bryn.

Arrghh, there's no Season 3 on Netflix! Christmas Special followed by a documentary type thing then nothing! Will have to buy DVD unless there are any plans to bring Season 3 to NF.

Best Christmas special ever

So many good quotes-:

All the references to Smithy’s girlfriend’s teenage weekend activities--swimming gala, gymkhana, netball tournament etc

Plus, I love how they are all named after serial killers!

We live in South Wales and Im convinced Stella based most of the characters on my street :D. Driving through Barry and you can stop outside the house that was Stacey's and take pictures!!! And the coach tour of all the sights is actually run by Dave's Coaches!

A shaming admission but a couple of bits make me tear up - Bryn reading the letter from Stacey's dad, the look
Nessa gives Smithy just after she's had Neil, the baby and most of all the bit when Stacy has done the box of pregnancy tests. So sweet.

Doris is a legend. I have family from that neck of the woods and in laws from near that bit of Essex so bits are so familiar!

The Christmas special is by far the best Christmas special of all!!
