Joe Suggs CAN dance, it wouldn't worry me if he won, or how he won. Little Joe who won the last series was really meh and for some reason he won so nothing will upset me now!

My DH said of Joe ‘how does he look so young and old at the same time?!’ He has a point!

He has the body of a gangly 15 year old boy all arms and legs but the face is nearly 30 it is odd oh and the quiff of Johnny Bravo

An Officer and a Gentleman is one of my fave guilty pleasure films, don't muck it up Karen and Charles.

Take a Chance On Me sounds like a rubbish salsa choice. What a shame for Vick, bouncing back with that waltz only to be lumbered with this.

I wonder who went wrong (Karen or Charles) in their routine? Enjoyed Monkseal's array of Karen faces.

Finally...James Jordan is going to be a contestant on Dancing on Ice! I feel a bit sorry for him that he's gone from Strictly to dodgy calendars and Ann Summers to this. Saying that his fee could be higher than what he earned on Strictly per series, who knows. Surprised Ola isn't signed up too, she did The Jump didn't she?

They've been having some incredibly odd music choices this series. On Saturday I though that Lauren and AJ would have had an easier time with more typical Charleston music (I was also pissed off by the singer getting some of the lyrics wrong and singing "I got no rules" when it should be "I got new rules"). Try a Little Tenderness is a fab song, but not for American Smooth IMO and Katie Piper's song was tricky for a Paso. I think they are trying for a fabulous and unusual fusion, like Katya and Joe's Samba to Money Makes the World Go Around, but missing the mark.

On the first series of Irish Dancing with the Stars there was a gorgeous model who had been doing really well in the previous weeks and she went out doing a jive to Happy while dressed as a minion (her pro was AJ's brother IIRC). It might not be lucky for Stacey and Kevin.

It's going to be tricky to salsa to that Abba song, but on the whole the songs are less weird than they were.

Gah at Joe (and Dianne) having cutesy HSM. It will probably produce a crowd pleasing American Smooth but I'd like to see him sell it with more challenging music some of the others have had/are getting
