I think Hanssen will come good in the end. I reckon he was noticing the amount of muscle wastage when he went in to look at Lana. Can't wait for next week.

I hope so, but he seems to have reverted.to his younger self, not the competent all powerful HH he used to be.

Is Zav extra huge or Meena extra tiny? they look so odd together.

Why does Essie get so involved in everything and is allowed to be so rude to Consultants? is she something more than a nurse and I missed it?

ARe we sure it's not going to turn out that Lana is Gaskill's daughter or other family member? The fact that they kept making a big issue of wanting to know her surname yesterday suggested that might be a reveal.

I think Jac is damned if she does and damned if she doesn't regarding the conduit thingy.

meena is tiny but I reckon Zav is very tall too.

Essie may 'only' be a nurse but she's well 'in' with the doctors, helped no doubt by having been married to two. Also, presuming she's considerably more senior professionally and age-wise, those two factors probably put her more on an equal footing with most of the senior doctors too. The younger ones she 'mothers' rather doesn't she?

The prescriptions are in the patients names though? So assume basic charges for those and then they pay Donna for her time.

I was thinking Gaskell would be old enough for East Germany / Iron Curtain but his name's wrong unless it's an adopted name (and accent), but I found it hard to follow tbh.

I had never thought Meena was so tiny until yesterday and so had to google her height. She’s 5 foot exactly so is pretty short. And Zav is 6 foot 2

Gaskil said the evil woman at whatever home/institution he was muttering about had branded him and the other children inc Lana’s mother. But obv when HH checked Lana she had been branded too which doesn’t add up.

Donna's prescriptions would be fine since she'd get Duval to prescribe and she'd order them through her supplier/s. Remember when she asked him prescribe them again after that car ran over her batch and Alex saved her from getting run over

I reckon Gaskell is Lana’s Father, and that’s why he is so obsessed with the new-conduit and attempting to make such breakthroughs, because he is trying to save his daughter.

Possible Buttonmoon. He did say he grew up with her mother.

No spoilers but the next two episodes look like they’re going to be pretty good ones!

What's with the branding on Lana??

Really liked Jac this episode.

I didn't think it was branding on Lana - I thought it was the site of her operation, but the fact it was so well healed gave HH a clue that this was a long-standing patient. (Could be entirely wrong, though!)
