Alex looked as though he was going to throw up. He knows that he won because he only gave Dan 2 stars. I think he will feel extremely guilty. Even if he offered to share I think Dan's sense of pride would make him refuse. And winning the public prize will have compounded Alex's guilt. #lessintegritythandan #selfloathing

I feel bad for Dan but so thrilled Alex won!!
Dan forgot the biggest rule in social media communication. You should never trust what you cant see. And it cost him. I think its a really important message and to see it highlighted. Alex was in knots of guilt over Dan and you could see how much he wanted to come clean. But he could never be sure Dan was what he seemed, and he didn't forget it. At the end if it all, he is more internet savvy than Dan, and took the prize(es).
So glad Freddie didnt win, though he was very entertaining. Sian seems really nice, I think both of them will do well from the show if it has been popular.
I have no idea how I got sucked into thus show. Its normally something I would run a mile from. But it came on after the bake off and I was intrigued despite myself. By day 5 I was hooked and been obssesed in the last week. Will be lost tomorrow night! #ineedmorecircle ...

I think GBBO may have brought an unexpected demographic to The Circle viewership @VenusOfWillendorf, which could explain why I don't know anyone irl. I too got sucked in after GBBO!

Bloody brilliant finale. I was on the edge of my seat. That meetup - urgh! So uncomfortable. Didn't like Sian at all throughout - 'Oh I'm so pretty I get judged, I'm going to use this ugly picture of myself'. Loves herself and quickly found herself a gross little sidekick in Freddie. He's honestly one of the most vile people ever to appear on my TV.

I love that the tactical voting made Alex win. Just another showcase of how snakey the internet is! You could tell Alex felt terrible about winning, but I think that when he realises how much public support he has (which you could even see dawning on him with the second win) he'll feel ok - and yes hard to feel that bad when you've won and have 75K!

Alex wouldn't have been the only one to vote tactivally otherwise Sian would probably have won. And for all Dan's "integrity" he was attracted to Kate's appearance as much as anything else - I'm sure he wouldn't have voted the real Alex 5 stars as consistently (remember the slightly sneery "he looks like he's about to tell a bad knock knock joke"?) And didn't Sian give Dan a really low rating during the vote where Harry left?

I'm pleased Alex won the public vote, it validates his Circle win IMO. He's the only player who didn't get involved in a catfight during the whole process (the spat with Freddie was one way). I also found it interesting he's the least conventionally good looking out of the 4 finalists.

I’m gutted for Dan that he didn’t win either prize. Him and Sian both came across well I thought.

The problem with Alex winning the public vote is he had a huge advantage because he is already a YouTube blogger with a large number of followers and some level of fame.

Seems kind of unfair as he’ll have lots of fans who knew his work before The Circle voting for him so unsurprising he won by a landslide. He seems like a nice and genuine guy but not as nice or genuine as Sian - I feel like people respected him because he acknowledged he was hurting peoples feelings and seemed to feel bad about playing m the game and being tactful, but Alex seemed to receive more praise for wanting to be himself and feeling bad for lying than players like Dan and Sian received for genuinely being themselves and being honest to the other players.

I think the ratings they give should HAVE to be graded; so one vote at one point, one at two points etc, up to five points for most popular. They could still vote tactically, but that means if everyone does it would backfire.

I think Dan was angry not only because he’d been lied too but he knew then that he had probably made Alex the winner. He said that before the voting that his could be the votes that decide it if they’re all tactical.

That meal was last night and today would have been packing and prepping for the evening. A bit like BB and Love Island etc you never see any footage from the day they leave anymore unless it’s live.

The might have had a rehearsal too but they wouldn’t have had any audience there so Alex wouldn’t have seen Millie (I think someone was confused about that up thread) the would still have been kept away from non cast and crew.

Awful presenting, hideous studio lighting and an irrating set design with the pointless raised bit in the middle which was used as a podium at the end which aesthetically had zero impact but was the main reason the lighting was dodgy as the had it mainly light for that bit which although was the most important part of the show, it was the smallest segment.

Scotty annoyed me still 😂

If Dan and Sian rated like Freddie and Alex then it would probably have been a draw. Now that would have been interesting but is also why I think it's flawed. Especially for future series.

I think they need to either take the series average or players need to rank the other players. Forcing people to give someone 5 stars. If that had happened I doubt Alex would have won. It wasn't his catfish or personality that won. It was dirty tactics!

Finally got to watch the final - electricity went at 9.55 where i am of all times!

Dan ended up looking moody, Sian acted totally up her own ass, Freddie came across as himself which has irritated me from day 1 and the presenters need to be given marching orders. Delighted Alex won.

Loved the show but the final did not impress me at all. Cant wait for the catch up next Tuesday!

Yes I agree about the ranking. They should have ranked the other players and had points depending on if they were ranked 1st, 2nd or 3rd by someone. That would have been fairer.

It's a shame it ended like it did because I think Dan came across very well throughout the series but definitely seemed so moody once he'd seen Alex. I thought it was really sweet how Sian and Freddie came in to dinner and totally accepted him and congratulated him, but it made Dan seem even more bitter. I think it must mess with your head being in the circle but Dan needed reminding that it's a game.

I'm sure it does mess with your head but ultimately the whole point of the show was you can be whoever you want to be. I think dan was a little silly to forget that. Yes maybe a ranking of 1,2,3 would be fairer in future, but I think apart from dan they probably all did it!

I've just watched aidens live story on instagram. It's looks like they were having a great after party and Alex was in the thick of it dancing!

The final was more tense than the Bodyguard! They all seem so different out of the Circle. I liked Sian previously but last night she was just so cocky. Dan was grumpy. And Freddy was laying it on far too thick. Alex was still Alex so glad he won. I agree that I thought he was going to be sick. So sad it’s over

I was also watching which ones acknowledged the blocked players when they came in. Only Alex did. And Sian completely ignored Freddie at the start of the interview whereas she was all over him later. Nerves I guess but....

I've watched Ryan's and Sinead but I don't think I saw Dan in them, I saw his brothers.hoping he was there somewhere! Also saw Freddie with his trousers down 🤢

Alex definitely felt guilty for winning the viewers choice also. I think he should give it to Dan but that's not reasonable to expect. Can't wait for the follow up show. I do feel bad Dan rated Alex so high thinking he'd do the same for him. Sad it's over. What are watching next???

All those saying Alex only won due to tactical voting and Dan voting him 5, Sian and Freddie voted 1s and 2s through the series. So actually, Sian might not have been at the top so often if she'd been fairer with her ratings

I am disappointed we didn't get to see the final ratings, unless we will in the "after" show. I cannot see how this show can return, players will be more wary of cat fishing and the viewing figures were low. I loved it, as I did first B.B.

@spanishfly yes exactly that, although Sian did give a 3 last night, I expect that was to Freddie instead of his usual 5. That is the only thing she and Freddie changed, down rated each other from a 5. The only one that drastically changed their voting style was Alex and it payed off for him. Nothing wrong with that at all, he was playing the game, as were Sian and Freddie. Seeing as Dan has loyalty and integrity tattooed on to himself, he played it the way he wanted to! Still feel bad for him that he's come away with nothing though. He still has a lot of public support, far more than Freddie. His loyalty and integrity will serve him well moving forwards 😀
