Apologies if it’s been talked about before but I couldn’t find a thread.

Just finished season 1 ( late to the party). Loved it. Wondering if it stays as charming and whitty for season 2 or gets repetitive.

I’ve enjoyed it so far. Fingers crossed.

I loved it too! Season 2 is just as good but in a different way. I think it’s very clever and for a comedy, pretty thought provoking. It’s worth watching for the interesting twists and turns in the plot and I loved the ending! ( no spoilers...) 😀

I loved seasons 1 and 2 and am looking forward to 3 which is supposed to be coming soon.

I was totally stunned at the surprise twist. DH picked it after two episodes Shock.

It's a great show. Ted Danson is terrific.

I’ve just started rewatching it to remind myself of everything before S3. When I started S1, I really liked it and thought it was a bit of fun, but after the s1 finale and then season 2 it becomes much better. It is funny and smart, and only gets better in my opinion. Actually, I’m enjoying it even more this time round now that I know what happens later - there are all sorts of little things in the first series that are even funnier when you have more context. I can’t wait for season 3.

Season 2 is great. Love this show. Season 3 is on Netflix at the end of the month

Thanks, good to hear. Have started quite a few series on Netflix recently only to find my interest fizzles out. (Ozarks) Glad it’s not going to happen on this one by all accounts. Smile

Have you got to the part with Adam Scott as Trevor? I think it's at the end of Season 1. He's forking brilliant in everything but particularly good in this.

Watched all of season one. I will start season 2 today if I can get away with it Grin
Trevor was amazing wasn’t he! I googled the character name but it didn’t get me far ( to busy watching) so thanks for giving me his real name. I’ll look him up again today .

I was convinced William Jackson Harper ( Chidi) was related to Samuel L Jackson. Their voices and mannerisms are so alike.

are you guys watching season 3 now? I Can't believe there is not more online about it, I am absolutely loving it!! Just watched Janet beat the crap out of all the demons, I actually think Janet might be one of the best characters on any comedy ever. Her secret love for Jason makes her all the more wonderful, I love her!!!

I was really disappointed with season 3. I think the quality has dropped dramatically.
Seasons 1 and 2 were amazing.

Agreed stripycreature. I'm still watching it and it's an ok show but the magic seems to have gone. Seasons 1 and 2 were outstanding.

I think we’re getting too much Michael and Elinor and not enough of the others in season 3. Not enough of the four interacting together.

I’ve just finished it and blubbed a bit. I binge watched the first two seasons as I was late coming to it but got a bit lost in season 3 when it came out because I’d forgotten a bit of what happened in the wait between 2 & 3.

I sort of wasn’t really bothered with this season much, I didn’t like watching it one episode at a time and it’s all just seemed like filler as a build up to the end.

The last episode was better than the whole of the rest of season 4 I think. It’s one of those shows that I’ll probably rewatch at some point though.

Enjoyed it a lot, finale felt true to the characters and the smaller characters got a spot too. Cried several times, and made me reflect on mortality, of course!
