Jaclyn and Ryan, I think that he will smother her and based on the clip for this episode (TONIGHT) he won't want anyone not 100% perfect!

That's not a spoiler it is a clip and with MAFS the clips are willfully misleading!

Shawniece and Jephte I think they won't make it, he is too tame for her!

I think Molly and Jonathan have the best chance, they look good together and seem well suited, she seems to be pleased and so does he!

Yes I found Ryan really overbearing and cringe. (Hated his suit but that's me being horrible).

Shawniece doing a lapdance. I could not bear it. Jephte is super cute.

I don't think Shawniece and Jephyr will make it. He's never seemed that keen on the whole thing and has barely smiled throughout the whole experience. And that lap dance was awful!

I had high hopes for the Ryan and Jaclyn but think, after the trailer for tonight's episode, they won't make it.

Im watching too!! And i 100% agree Molly and Jonathon have the best chance of making it work. Ryan will never a accept anything less than 100% perfect. Jephte seems very guarded and not letting anything show and shawiece is the complete opposite shes loud in your face and OTT and OMG that lap dance was so 😳😳😳 did you see his mums face?! And he looked quite uncomfortable!! Cant wait to see what happens in tonights

Anyone still watching this? Just watched episode 3, Shawnneice and Jephte are not a good match AT ALL! And Ryan comes across very controlling and show-offy to me.

Just seen ep3. Don't like Shawniece and think they are going to fun into difficulties. The other 2 couples seem ok so far in my opinion. I'm enjoying it!

I binged watched Series 1 of MAFS USA on catch up a few months ago. It had such a lovely ending and one couple are still married and now have children 4 years on...but which one?

Dod anyone else think the way shawniece got on about jephte not putting her in his phone as wifey strange?? And slightly controlling?

I think Ryan sees being a husband as a kind of extension of his role as a man. He speaks often of looking after her, bringing her flowers etc, the expensive ring he bought. It always seems as if he has got to that part of his life and wants this next stage. Which I can totally get. Of course. But I think it means so much is invested in it.

Molly surprised me by talking about her father dying minutes after Jacky said her boyfriend had died. Maybe there was a longer gap and they just cut it together but it just seemed a bit crass. I suppose Molly is quite young so maybe losing her dad so young feels terrible. I guess I just think losing a partner is so much more dramatic and challenging.

Jephte is so cute! I feel quite sorry for Jephte and Shawniece, she is so keen on him and he seems so disinterested. Even the photo they flash up of him is him not smiling at all.

Yes i think jaclyn and Ryan have a good chance and are actually well matched however when they get back to reality that may well change as jaclyn's grief still seems very raw and i think Ryan may struggle with it
Molly and Johnathon were a good match and were going so well until Molly's comment about Johnathon having so much energy and being like a 12 year old boy after that everything got so awkward between them and he seemed really hurt by it and he did try to be a little more mindful when talking with her afterwards could this possibly be the start of a rocky road?
Where do i start with Jephte & Shawnice? I feel for her as she really is putting her all into the marriage and really wants to get to know Jephte and make it work and he just keeps telling her we are strangers i don't know you yes that is true but he doesn't need to keep throwing that in her face and i am kind of struggling to see why he done the show if he wants to take baby steps and go at his pace as they only have the 8 weeks to get to really know each other then decide if they are going to stay married or not and at the rate he is going 8 months down the line he still wont know!

I'm on season 7 😁 I did like Jephte at first but few episodes in and he really doesn't seem like he wanted this. Shawny is great. Molly not so great. Jon is a great guy, Molly's comment about him being high energy - errr hello you're on a show that's being shown worldwide, and you've just married a stranger on tv, and that stranger really likes you. No wonder he's excited. Ryan... I've always found him creepy and too intense. Jaclyn doesn't seem like she has much personality if I am honest.

And all of Jephte's "you're a stranger" moaning... not a stranger. Your wife. Stop looking at her like she's someone who you don't know and put in the effort to make it a real marriage. There is no baby steps, that's the point of being "married at first sight". Things are bound to move fast
