Yes tiredmoma indeed. But don't you think the whole concept of MAFS kind of leans towards a partner as a convenience?

Yea i think you may right! Has any of the couples that have ever done MAFS stayed together and acc made it work? Also one thing that really annoys me is the fact that they all constantly feed the need to say 'the reason i wanted to do MAFS' they always seem to have to say MAFS as if we would forget what we were watching?!

I think jacky is wrong to request Ryan give up his apartment now. Seems like a needless ultimatum.

John and Molly seem to be more on an even keel.

Jephte and Shawniece just seem a bit up and down Confused

Yip seen it i can see why he wants to kept it incase things don't work out which in a way is sensible esp in this type of experiment it would be different if it was after the 8 weeks i could see why she would be annoyed many weeks are left?

I have just caught up with this. I initially thought ryan and jaclyn would go strong but over the series ryan has came across as controlling and selfish. It is all about him and what he wants. He needs to realise that he is married and has to think of someone else as well now.

Molly and jon might make it if she drops her wall and is a bit more affectionate.

Shawniece and jephte have a 50/50 chance. Sometimes it comes across like he isnt really into her. Other times he is more sensible. However flowers do not solve everything.

Was that Roni & Michael? I felt very sorry for her and for him, it just was clear it was not working. They were also sleeping apart and never got intimate with each other. I think in some ways similar to Molly and Jon.

I think the Australian ones were good, interesting, varied. For some reason I find the UK ones just quite boring! USA ones are not bad. Why do I feel differently! Maybe it is just more exciting watching people in Sydney or Boston!

"I think jacky is wrong to request Ryan give up his apartment now. Seems like a needless ultimatum." I agree. She is in the wrong, but I think she wants the commitment and I think he is not ready to give it, and in this case is right - although he is also a bit of a dick!

"John and Molly seem to be more on an even keel." Yes, they do but I think Molly probably holds all the cards here and I think she may walk. I can't quite figure out why she is so keen on him, keen to make it work and attracted to him but not interested in being intimate with him. It is totally her right but actually, in her shoes I'd probably do as she is doing, continue with the 'experiment' but not be intimate and get out when I could.

"Jephte and Shawniece just seem a bit up and down confused" actually I think they are the most together. They seem to have a shared common purpose, both from slightly religious families, attracted to each other, in terms of Married at First Sight they have the best chance.

I'm typing one handed so I can't articulate fully what I meant.

I think it was just an opportunity that so many single women obviously applied for and she'd already had the experience.

It didn't seem fair that she got in. She also seemed really highly strung.

@Italiangreyhound im with you on J & S that they are the most likely to stay together as they seem the more compatible couple out of the three even though they had a very rocky start but that could still change!! I cant decide if Jon is giving it his all and letting molly take lead to keep her happy or hes kinda given up?!

Yeah she really does i dont know if she really wants this to work or not? Or maybe that is just the way she is but i think if your not going to give it your all them you shouldn't do this type of thing decision day will be good!!

I think Ryan is a selfish arse. What he says and what he does are 2 separate things.

Aside from his arse moment I think Jon is trying hard but Mollie is never going to want him as a husband and they won't last. Jephte is complicated and doesn't know what he wants but fundamentally seems like a nice guy. Shawniece is just adorable. No one can say she hasn't given it her all. I think she wants this more than any of the rest

I think Ryan is a selfish arse and he has been horrible to Jaclyn and she has let him away with far too much

I like Jon and don't like Molly at all. She is cold and I don't think she is suited to being married at first sight as she is far too rigid in her thinking. If I were Jon I'd have been gone long ago.

I think Jephte in immature and also have no idea why he signed up to this sort of experiment as he doesn't seem emotionally able. Do they not rigorously test them for suitability?
Shawniece is nice but perhaps a bit over eager to make it work. I hope they last the pace.

I can't see either of the other couples making it tbh
