Couldn't see a thread on this already so just posted to say it is back on Tuesday 28th August.

Less than 2 weeks to go. Yippee!

Oh I really like Tom Allen!

I agree Fawn Extra Slice goes on too long now as well. (they seem to be scraping the barrel for things to do , like makeing Prue's necklace etc. which Jo commented on) Tom is annoying.

I rarely watch Extra Slice but am always surprised that they think it can be stretched out to an hour long show. Is Tom Allen now presenting? I quite like him but he does have a tendency toward being smug which can become tedious rather than witty.

I haven't watched any Extra Slice yet this year so far due to its length/awkwardness. I liked Tom Allen on it last year but can understand why some don't, he's a bit Marmite

I always found it a tad rushed on BBC so 40mins is probably the ideal length. An hour is painful and ruins a good show. Take note Channel 4!

Rahul is a magician but I wish he'd be a bit cheerier. He's quite painful to watch (I say that as someone with very low self esteem)

Don't see her reaching the quarter finals though unless she lucks out.

Not fussed about the others really. Terry is fun but will likely come unstuck. I really liked Anthony dammit! Could have gladly watched a few more weeks of mixed bakes from him

I just watched the season 4 final (Frances, Ruby, Kimberley) on channel 17. I can't get over how horrible their tiered wedding cakes were?!

Tom Allen is not actually presenting, Edina he's doing a stint walking around the audience, looking at some of their bakes etc. while Jo Brand takes a break I suppose. He seems uncomfortable, reading notes, either that or there hasn't been a long enough rehearsal.

I think Tom is used to improv not scripts.

He's great on things like QI.

My very best friend when I was 10 was of English/Malaysian parentage. For tis reason alone I'd like KJ to do well. (Although my friend was not in the least quirky) I wish I could find her again!

Jut had a thought. Did anyone else hear Manon showing the camera her tattoo and explaining that it was her 'family tattoo'? Are they the Mafia?

Quite a good Extra Slice just now, much better than last week. That Anthony is quite a dish, he's funny too, I loved the Bollywood dancing he does too.

I don't like Tom Allen on bake off. He is too bitchy. You don't see much of the guests it all seems to be about him. Wish they would get rid of him.

I completely agree with you Reboot. I find the man such a pain to watch, with his cheekysneeky eyes to the camera and making it all about mememe arent i clever?looks, I stop watching anything he's on.
And that's why I didn't watch last night after he made his appearance.

Agree extra slice was much better this week. I like Johnathon Ross on it. I even like Jamie Laing!

I agree about T. A. Aviator he can be quite funny but he's too bitchy. Jamie was a scream , does he pretend to be thick? I liked Shirley M. as well as Jon Ross .

I like Ruby. She takes no shit. Not even from Hollywood. He'll end up being scared of her like he was of that other one (who in my head is also called Ruby?) from a few years back who has just married a woman, which has probably angered and bewildered PH.
