Does anyone remember this? It was an Australian sitcom and was brilliant! And more excitingly it's now on Netflix!!

DH commented on how it is just as funny as it was first time. We reckon the snippy mum - sulky adult daughter never gets old. Add in the dorky stepfather/vavavoom second-time around sex life with your adult child under your roof - mortificado all round! 🤮 😂 So funny!

I used to have a set of Kath and Kim dress up dolls on the fridge until the dog worked out she could lever the pieces off with her teeth. They went missing, but I found Kath's kimono under the microwave the other day.

They've changed the music on Netflix. It's not quite the same watching Sharon walk away from seeing her boyfriend flirt with the lovely leggy Moira to a sad melody playing instead of "What About Me".

I haven't got to Kel's birthday episode yet. If they've dubbed over the karaoke scenes I'll be bloody gropeable...

Having just joined Netflix, this made me laugh. I watched them the first time in the UK, and now I live here.

I remember saying to my late DH: "Where do they buy those clothes?" "Australia" was the reply. There was also a doc about K&K where the wardrobe buyers had to sneak into shops who had wised up to where K&K "shopped" and were not amused.

Pru and True are so real; not a lot who sound like this, but the faux-posh Aussie accent is spot-on.

I LOVE Kath and Kim! My favourite one is the eyes wide shut spoof with Sharon and the cape. Absolute genius writers! So glad this is on Netflix.

I was thinking of Pru and Tru only yesterday when I was in a shopping centre here in the uk and there was a 'House' store and I was dragging in dh yelling 'this is where Pru and Tru work in Australia. We can get a thriw for the coaaawch'.

I love Kaths Long tongue twisting sentences, and her love of food coloured clothing.

I haven't watched this since it originally aired and I loved it! I own the first two series on dvd but I don't think I watched it all. I am now re-visiting it on Netflix and love it 😂

Some of the best tv ever! And actually when you think how old it was, it was ahead of its time I think, had a slight "fly on the wall", mockumentary feel going on which is very popular now.

My mum had a perm and dressed a bit like Kath in the late 80s/early 90s

The problem with loving Kath and Kim-speak is that it can accidentally come out when you don't mean it to. At a pub lunch - quite a while ago - I asked for a ham and cheese piñata... I could hear the waitress laughing as she walked away
