Does anyone remember this? It was an Australian sitcom and was brilliant! And more excitingly it's now on Netflix!!

Kel’s commemorative sausage for their connubials.

youngestisapsycho · 02/08/2018 12:03

Used to love K&K... DD was looking for something new to watch, I will introduce her!

lukewarmcoffee · 02/08/2018 12:34

'A statue of baby cheeses?! I said baby Jesus Kim, Jesus!' Always makes me chuckle. Also, 'I wanna be effluent Mum, effluent!'

We absolutely love this! So happy it's on Netflix. Just reading the comments on here has made me laugh out loud, so I can't wait!

theveryhighlife · 02/08/2018 13:57

Ahh, I loved this!

lostlalaloopsy · 02/08/2018 19:09

I've binged all the episodes over the last couple of days. It was actually funnier than I remember. I love when Kath and Kel dance 🤣🤣

The wedding vows!

“Kel Knight. You are my hairy stag and I am your nubile nympho. Like two young saplings that grow together, may you find solace in my leafy canopy.”

HappyEverIftar · 03/08/2018 07:58

Har! Haor yur?

Prue and Trude are awesome. Every time DM and I hit up Matalan or TK Maxx for DM constant homeware buying, I always slip in "a threw for yur caaach?" and a quizzical brow.

When Brett gets promoted and says "Nah, just sack 'im - we can do that now" and flips his phone closed, DH applies that to all life experiences. Paying to have our car washed - we can do that now; 5.45am pint at the Airport? We can do that now Grin.

He also sings a rendition of Brett's "you're as cold as ice" to me when I laugh at kids falling over or come up with a particularly unromantic comment. Tuning in!

LivingInTheSeventies · 03/08/2018 08:05

I didn’t know it was on Netflix- we have it on in the background most days and even the dcs know most of the scripts and sing the theme song!

My favourite line is telling people they look a hundred bucks if they look good!

PookieNoodlin · 03/08/2018 08:10

“My marriage is over...O-V-A-H” 😂

greeneggblueegg · 03/08/2018 08:47

My 10 yo DD does the best Pru and Tru impression Grin

FlorisApple · 03/08/2018 09:48

"Paris Hilton? She looks like a hundred bucks!" Grin
"yeah, the estate agent reckons we've overcapitalised, so I'm really happy with that!"

My favourite lines....love them!

MarshaBradyo · 03/08/2018 09:50

Brilliant
Baby cheeses and 2nd best friend

boatyardblues · 04/08/2018 21:24

Love love love Kath & Kim. We adopted “cactus hour” (the crappy grumpy bit before you put an overtired baby to bed) with DS1. DH and I loved the over-earnest cookery show. Will have to rewatch now its on Netflix. Grin

boatyardblues · 04/08/2018 22:32

Kath & Kimderella (film) is also on Netflix. Wink

Thiswontendwell · 04/08/2018 22:50

Already binge watching!

MarthasGinYard · 04/08/2018 22:52

Love em'

coolwalking · 05/08/2018 02:29

Marion you boob!

MaitlandGirl · 05/08/2018 03:29

I can’t watch it anymore - DD2 is a weird combination of Kim and Kel with some Russell Coight thrown in for good measure.

She’s the most over the top Aussie I’ve ever met and we’ve only been here 8.5 years lol

Quantumblue · 05/08/2018 05:16

It is amazing how much it has influenced our expressions. I love "the good room'. When I meet someone called Brett I always think of them as Bretty. The actor who plays ShAron, , Magda szubanskii, is one of Australia's national living treasures.

MargotLovedTom1 · 05/08/2018 05:39
