That was a crap situation for everyone. I do get where Alex is coming from. They aren’t well suited. He could have pretended until the end of the show, that would have been cowardly, but I bet most of the others in there would have done so. But she handled that much better than he did.
But that does not mean he’s gay and even if he were some of these comments here are infantile and completely uncalled for.

I think if we look back at the women's comments, that they can't understand why no one fancies him, but when they meet him they know, and he's like your best mate but nothing more is very telling in hindsight.
