That's fairly standard h7man behaviour. Also, the more nervous you get, the more likely it is to show a lie. You are more likely to get a inaccurate lie result.

Funny how Jack1 was trying to explain why the test said he could be tempted “it means I might look but I wouldn’t do anything about it!” rather than just say “Well it’s a bollocks test and I wouldn’t be tempted”.

My favourite bit was jack2 telling the truth about the kiss with Georgia.

I also found Laura2's questions surprisingly embarrassing - I think part of her appeal has been that she seemed cool and aloof but those questions were so bitchy and immature and designed to put Laura1 down!

I did find Megan sweet and a little sad tonight - I've really warmed to her. I wonder if she wants to use Love Island as a vehicle to a more 'wholesome' way of life and image ironically - in contrast to e.g. Rosie leaving a more 'respectable' path behind for a more glam and sexualised image. Don't know if that makes any sense! Perhaps Megan is hoping for a serious relationship with Wes and, being on a mainstream albeit sexy TV show, to leave the sex industry behind her.

Laura2's questions showed her to be bitchy and stupid.

How did she think the "is Laura the best looking girl?" one going to go?!

Her questions were deeply stupid especially the one about the best looking girl (she’s not). She practically chewed her knee off listening for the answers.😂

Lie detectors are notoriously ridiculous. But even in Jeremy Kyle they explain that they do a series of baseline questions to ensure they get the subjects 'neutral' reading. And then they dont read the results until after the test is finished.

The don't just strap them in, fire away and then tell them how they are doing as they go. Of course that is going to have an effect on subsequent answers.

It's so stupid it's almost pointless.

It looks to me like it's filmed from Nighttime one day to Nighttime the next so still over 24 hours.

I love Laura 1 when she is funny and quick and does that wide mouthed laugh. The other side of her she cannot help but it doesn’t put me off her. She is who she is.

Paul is completely dull. He makes Alex 1 look like Russell Brand. Lol

I'm guessing the islanders weren't allowed to talk about the accuracy of the test itself when discussing the results afterwards? Cause surely most would be along the lines of 'oh well it's bollocks anyway'

I also think a lot of the questions were OTT for relationships of less than a week. And questions such as 'could you be tempted by girls on th outside'... I mean surely anyone who is human can be tempted?? Bit unrealistic to think you can just have someone who never looks at another woman.

I feel sorry for alexsandra. She was really upset about the whole Paul kiss thing and being so obviously rejected by him, when she'd been so forward, and now Alex appears to not be interested in her either. I felt bad for her getting all dressed up in lingerie as she was clearly expecting more. I can't quite work out dr Alex, he came across as desperate in previous weeks (e.g. In casa amor with grace and Charlie) and like absolutely any girl would do for him. Then now he's got someone who is actually interested in him he's backed away.

I mean you think they would anyway!

Laura1 was hilarious! Mr Tortoise spat out his tea when she said ‘did you ever’. Laura2 on the other hand - what infantile questions.

I don't think Alex and alexsandra will last, it will be over quickly when the show finishes, if it even lasts that long.

The longer he is in, the odder he seems. I suspect because he is in to enhance his career, he wants to be a tv doctor, and has no desire to be in a relationship. He's just playing a game, having a little fun and going along with it.

I also think alexsandra misread it by going all out sexy to bed. All the other girls went in shorts and t shirt pyjamas. There is a huge difference between a sexy elegant dress on a date and appearing in sexy lingerie on the way to bed.

I think in hindsight it was a mistake for her to do it. The other thing she's doing wrong is he said he likes her in black, so she's wearing nothing but black now. It's too try hard. She clearly likes him and is trying, and the harder she tries, the more put off he is.

As for Laura 2s questions I think they revealed her to be exactly what she said she was, highly competitive. The questions surprised me though and showed some deep insecurity,

Just caught up now. I think Laura 2 is just awful asking questions which involve Laura 1! Like who is the best kisser. I think he has told Laura 2 already she is so she wanted to humiliate Laura 1, which is just horrible and so immature.
I have warmed to Megan and Wes, they do seem really smitten with each other, more so than anyone else in there (and I couldn't stand them originally).

I'm not sure I'd agree her objective was to humiliate Laura 1 , I think that's a reach and quite unpleasant.

Competitive, insecure, immature, maybe, but wishing to humiliate her is a bit too much in my opinion.

Asking if he still has feelings for her, asking who is the best kisser- knowing he left Laura 1 for Laura 2, isn't that enough for her without asking those questions? Definitely trying to show her up in my opinion. Everything I have seen of her seems really unpleasant.
