Alex isn’t ‘upper class’ though. He’s an ordinary boy from Wales. His dad’s a policeman. He gets on ok with the guys it’s just the women he’s weird with.

As someone who burns easily, preventing peeling takes far more effort than applying factor 50.

I'm pretty sure I've been on the medication I suspect Alex is on and it does make you more sensitive to sunlight, even when using sun cream.

Maybe he's decided pink/red skin for a few weeks is a small price to pay for the experience he's having in there.

I loved that time when Josh was in the bottom, the genuine shock on his face gave me a lot of joy indeed. I'm hoping the same would happen again tonight. He's not entertaining, not funny, not attractive...I hate his little mandem with Wes and Jack2. Just a bunch of try hard Chris and Kem wannabes.

Yes, he's already agreed with his hospital to return part time initially. He's on a zero hours contract, which is how he's managed to take 8 weeks off.

He has suncream, just not strong enough (factor 30).

I realise that I'm being rather defensive of Alex, but I did think Alex3 was a bit indiscreet about the shorts incident. He's hardly the only person up to stuff under the covers, and presumably expecting it to stay private. If he'd spoken up about her putting his hand down her knickers, everyone would've been calling him a bit of a cad (or maybe just me who still uses 'cad'!)

He is taking medication for psoriasis that makes him more sensitive to the sun.

He is daft as a brush and not religiously and regularly applying factor 50, wearing a t shirt or sitting in the shade as much as he should.

He is setting a terrible example to impressionable youngsters, risking his own health and the red is not particularly attractive.

Some of us think it's a minor human failing, some of us think it impairs his ability to be a good doctor. We will most likely never agree.

Tatiana Fair point, but does that not apply to what you've said also? You used your own example of how you prevent peeling for your own skin to state why Alex isn't peeling. I did the same to state why I think it might not be sunburn he has.

And I think he's used a mix of both 30 and 50, but again I can't say for sure.

Apparently Jack1 has hinted that he's in the DBS, so he and Dani may well have been getting up to more than they've shown.

I love the view that apparently the whole nation is rooting for dr.alex. I'm completely indifferent to the guy. I don't find him entertaining or endearing.
In terms of the opposite sex he's like a Quasimodo figure that the producers keep throwing fresh meat to(in the form of new girls)in the hope that he will take to 1 of them.
The irony is that Josh is regarded as the sleazy one.

I don't think I like any of them really. Just by being the sort of people who are happy to walk around in swimwear and be filmed 24/7 for public consumption, they are unlikely to be someone I'd get along with. I think they must all have big egos, even if it's not always apparent, even favourites like Jami.

Wontonsoup I agree. I bet Jack1 is the type of guy that people used to call 'Whore/Madonna men', who think women are either one or the other but can't be both.

They always marry a Madonna, but because they can't have fulfilling sex with them because they see them a 'good', then regularly need to cheat with women they regard as Whores.

I think jack and Dani are young and genuinely really like each other. Good for them. Sometimes people do actually really like each other.

I'd like to think Jani are genuine too. I'm trying to be less cynical. Jack may well have been drawn towards her because of her father but I don't think he could feign interest for this long really. I bet he can't believe his luck.
