Felt sorry for sian and Aggie, they obviously are still hurting.
Lizzie is just beyond awful, fancy looking for a guy you met when you were younger and expecting him to look the same!!! Silly cow lol 😂

I enjoyed episode 2.

Seemed like they had settled in more.

That was sooo cringe Lizzie meeting up with ex, what did she expect!?!
She has issues that she needs to address or she's never going to be happy.

I love Anabelle, she looks great fun and a thoroughly nice sort.

All I can say about Lizzie is she has a nice figure but no brains!
I still remember her on the wedding programme she just looked like an old slapper lol, she's just hunting for a guy with money

I have met Annabelle in real life and she was absolutely lovely.

Nancy is the sort of woman I don't generally get on with.

I would say Nancy is the only one hunting for a man with money! She's blatant with that! She wants someone with a yacht and an aeroplane, she said. Nancy would be my idea of hell. She's a man's woman, not a woman's woman.

It looks like they now start talking about sex and how much they miss it in the next episode

I'm enjoying this series. Of course its all set up for our entertainment and not to be taken seriously.
I quite like Lizzie, more as the programme goes on, and she has a fabulous figure. Too much work on the face mind, which I'm sure she didn't need. And I'm trying hard to find anything to like about Nancy but failing. No words really.
They seem like a nice bunch otherwise, and that island is gorgeous.

Rousette. I don’t think Nancy is even a man’s woman, she is just a Nancy’s Nancy. She’s really annoying but it’s also sad because the rest of them are having so much fun and forming strong bonds and she excludes herself from it all.

That being said, she was generous to share her clothes with Sian who looked stunning in Nancy’s leopard print kaftan.

I really felt for a Aggie in the last episode. The way she described hugging her husband in the solicitors office when they were divorcing. She still clearly loves him

I watched the first one and really enjoyed watching a group of women over 30 doing stuff. I liked they were looking at doing stuff for themselves and not their other halves/ families. I didn’t like the undercurrent of obsessing over finding a man, though I guess this was the aspect that got the show made. In Shirley Valentine she finds a bloke but then she finds herself and she does what makes her happy on her own terms - something I hope happens for the women on the show!

Yes Loonoon she is just a Nancy's Nancy! I find women like her really really difficult to relate to.. no warmth to speak of... and yes she lent her leopard skin kaftan to Sian but in quite a patronising way I thought.

Like... 'oh you poor woman, you always look a fright, unlike me. let me dig something out of my beautiful wardrobe of clothes, so that you look at least presentable...'

Sorry, I thought Sian was wearing that (God awful) kaftan for a dare. Sian has got a figure and does not need cover up clothes. It's the kind of thing to relax in.

Sian wasn't smiling, she didn't look like she was pleased to be wearing it.

It's like a frenemy telling you something looks nice when they already know it looks terrible. As in, 'yeah, wear that old shit then there's at least one person I'll look better than.'

I've only watched one of these, but love Annabel.
I want her to be my friend. Watched her years ago on a tv fashion thing she did with Sarah Green, she is so funny.

Lizzy has a figure to die for but such a strange face. She looks older than she really is and it just seems so sad that women feel the need for surgery. It hardly ever improves them, just makes them look weird.

Ingrid doesn't look like she has had work done and I think she looks good as does Aggie. Not sure about Sian, her face looks very puffy. I don't remember her always looking like that

The funny thing is that actual surgery often does look good. Look at Annabel Giles. At 59 she's one of the oldest women in the group. She's also had a full face lift. Yet she looks much better and much less 'done' than Lizzy or Nancy who have had those god awful fillers, which never look good.

See also Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda. They've had face lifts and look great. Madonna and her filler face? Not so much.

I didn't realise Annabel has had a face lift. I just thought she looked really good for her age.

Sorry but I don't agree about Jane Fonda. She looks strange and a bit silly for her age

It's heartbreaking to hear how hurt some of these woman have been.

I didn’t realise Annabel has had a facelift either. Again I thought she had just aged very well. Also Helen Mirren? If she has her surgeon must be fab coz she looks great.
What’s with the fillers? Why would you want a puffy face like that?

Helen has had a jaw lift (I'm sure there's a fancy name for it!) at the very least. No 70 year old, or even 50 year old, has a jaw-line that taut!

I'm in my late 40s and while I like to think I look OK for my age, I'm starting to notice some definite jowliness. That bothers me more than a few wrinkles around the eyes, and is much more ageing imho. If I were to ever get 'work done' some time down the line, I'd definitely go under the knife rather than have those hideous fillers.

I love Aggie! Melinda looks amazing.

I have enjoyed this show. I felt quite emotional last night when Lizzie was helping Aggie to swim.

My friend and I are big fans of this show. Watching it last night, it sent out messages.

Nancy has softened and while she appears 'emotionless' I think she's softened. She's very self-absorbed but her way over the last two shows has definitely softened.

Loved Annabel. Loved Melinda with her daughter.

What the shows message to me was, is that women can be of great support to each other. There was no bitchiness in this programme.
