I wonder why Adam didn't choose Samira at the beginning seeing as she'd be the one he'd go up to in a club out of all the girls. I'm sure Samira's better off for it, just seems like a missed opportunity.

nowifi tbf Jamie was a douche on Taking New York. Seems like he grew up a lot in the two years in between. No idea why they haven’t realised what the audience wants. The clamours god deeper thinking contestants were pretty loud last year thanks to Camilla and eventually Jamie. Plus, surely it’s quite a common thought process that women more often than not like a guy a bit older or the same age as them but less often younger? So why chuck in a bunch of 22 year olds and one older slim ball?

The extra footage makes the choice of Zara to go even more inexplicable.

Even Ellie was surprised by it. Either that vote was not independent or the guys are really selfish.

Maybe the guys voted off 1/2 of the stronger couple as away if getting closer the the prize money themselves?

In Josh's defence he did say if Georgia was in the villa he would be honest with her, as they agreed. You could tell he liked Georgia but his head has been truly turned by Kaz who is completely his type, and she likes him too. The reaction is worse because we know Georgia is being loyal because she likes him so much and because we like her too.

He does have a point about Georgia not being his gf. I'm starting to wonder if in Love Island anyone has to be truly loyal to their other half unless they really want to...

Agree that the new boys are completely uninspiring and so similar. Boring. Although I want Laura to chose someone so Wes is out.

3 of the new girls - the blondes - I have barely seen and don't know anything about. It must be very difficult to make an impression when the audience is invested in the original villa members.

I would like to see Kaz come back to the villa with Josh, but want Georgia to stay! And Samira.

Just watched the highlights show during the night feed and what is up with Grace’s top lip? It looks like she’s been stung by a bee. Why do people continue to get fillers when 99% look shockingly bad. The mind boggles.
Agree that most of the newbies are rubbish, especially the boys. Ick.

I'm awake too ready, not for feeding purposes though, just insomnia! I think the lip filler thing is just the latest trend that people will regret. Like lots of people are getting rid of their oversized 90s boob jobs now. The same thing will happen with the currrent massive arse trend I think.

Hopefully eventually people will understand being natural is far sexier but who knows ...

Very true lady. I guess like you say all these fillers and oversized arses will go out of fashion. But are the effects permanent? Will it be a case of Looking back at embarrassing photos of over pumped lips yet still have those lips attached to their face. It would be like me having the awful eye shadow and horrid white patent platform shoes of my youth permanently attached to me (shudder). Or do fillers fade and lips eventually go back to normal?

Lip fillers fade...thank goodness. Arses are permanent!

Usually in LI there are some nice friendships to watch. This year they all seem really calculated especially the men. It's a bit disappointing really. Wes is just such an unpleasant person.

On another topic I'm really shocked at how much surgery Megan has had and she's only 24. She looks unrecognisable.

She does look unrecognisable. UI was chatting about LI with my husband yesterday, Megan in particular and how practically all the men are after her. Showed him the before and after pics and he thought she was far prettier before all the work.

Laughing at Megan's 'thumb toe' as pointed out by enough people on Twitter that the Sun decided to make it a story!

mmmh I wonder if because wes is in a couple with Laura whether he will couple up with Kaz - to bring her into the villa for Josh (as surely he will know that laura will 100% recouple) and Josh will choose Georgia so that she doesnt go home, then he can explain to her that he fancies Kaz and it will be dealt with in a nice way as Georgia is lovely and I think love island must be aware of her popularity and will want her to stay. If that happens then Josh will be slightly redeemed. So far noone has left who is a fans favourite.

I get that its love island but everyone moves on so quickly with no respect for their other couple. Its uncomfortable to watch.

Wes is seen as a jerk but he was just more honest than Laura. Even she knew they weren't right together.

Megan used to be a pole dancer which reminds me of a funny Chris Rock gag. A father's 1 duty in life is to keep his daughter away from the pole.

Fillers completely dissapear from 6 months- a year (sometimes more if your a good retainer). They can also be disolved easily but injecting Hyaluronidase. Good lip fillers are human collagen anyway which the body naturally produces so you are just adding more.

It is illegal to use anything perminant or industrial. Leslie Ash had industrial filler put in all those years ago and is only against unregulated practitioners, not actually against injectables herself. She campaigns actually for it and did a really interesting interview on radio 4 about it a few months back.

It's the boobs that I think some of them will regret, especially after children. If you must get them done do them post babies!

When did it start that you have to ask people to be your girlfriend? It's the same in towie. They go out on dates, have sex, do all the couple things but they aren't actually boyfriend and girlfriend until the girl is asked, then they announce it to everyone. Is this the same in real life? Is it so the boy keeps his options open and can't be accused of cheating. In my day you were asked out, went out, then if you carried on seeing them then you were boyfriend and girlfriend. It was never something you were asked about or had to announce. I am very old.

I’ve foundmy people! Been hooked on LI this year, never watched it before. NOBODY I know watches it and I just want to discuss it with others so badly!

Looking forward to tonight’s show. Would love Wes to get his comeuppance but somehow I think he’ll be fine 😡

I'm hoping that they mix it up from what they did last year as there are less established couples eg Wez, Laura, Megan, Ellie, Alex, Adam all not in a couple or relationship in a couple. None of them will stick to the original coupling.

I'm not keen on the new people or the new villa situation. Just as it was getting interesting in the original villa they pull them all out. Who is running this show seems like they don't have a clue. It all looks very staged and as anyone who watches unreal will know you have to use a bit of truth to set the whole thing on fire, staging it as they are with little chats is not working it looks way to fake.

@falang true, it would be something you'd discuss or agree privately to be 'exclusive' or be boyfriend and girlfriend, but no one would ever announce it to their friends!

That would be really weird. Most of the time in real life it's obvious when a couple are going steady and no one needs to be informed. The people on love island are young but sometimes they seem like their children

I know I'm twice their age so might not be down with the yoof but I really cannot see the attraction of that nose ring that Darylle (it is her, can't remember now) wears.

I get people wanting loads of tattoos - not my thing but I get it - but why on earth would you want a ring through your nose like a bull?!
