Did anyone notice Jack stop Ellie 2 snogging in the game in the previous episode? He said something like ‘that’s enough that’s 5 seconds’ then he was watching her as she came up with that other bloke at recoupling? I think he really likes her in ‘real life’. Have always thought him and Dani are a complete set-up. As soon as he saw her he said she was the one for him and apparently he had been commenting on her Instagram before they went in. He knows she’s already famous and a ticket out of the stationary world into d list celebrity.

I don't know... from what Jack/Ellie were saying about their relationship it sounds like Jack just used her to fill time between relationships until someone better came along, and would never officially make her his gf. He said he started seeing her after splitting up with 1 exgf but then went back to that ex again. I don't think he's interested in a relationship with her.

Interesting Plantpot . Yes I do recall him saying that during the kissing game. I think I am alone on here in liking Ellie 2. I think she’s his tripe. I think she’s quite sweet. I don’t want to go there in thinking that Dani and Jack are a set up because it will ruin my watching the programme experience

Jack really went up in my estimation during the recoupling. He looked so uncomfortable especially with the Georgia/Josh situation.

I know - it’s affected my viewing pleasure as I do think it was a preconceived idea tbh. That said I think him liking Ellie isn’t so that’s more interesting to watch (and really subtle). I think he’s desperately trying to play it down.

Maybe Jack knows a lot more about Elie2 - and suspects her motives for being there? He probably knows quite a bit about her past, and would know if she was likely to "play" one of the boys or cause trouble.

Who was Ellie2 kissing in that challenge?

Also I think sometimes when there’s a girl that ‘fills in’ between other girlfriends it’s sometimes because they are the right one they can’t leave alone. Just a thought.

I also like Ellie2. Definitely agree that jack has his game plan all planned out, I really hope a more genuine couple win than jack and Dani.

I think that those criticising Dani's reaction don't consider that she most likely hasn't been knocking around MN and the relationships board for a couple of years, absorbing the message that the OW is never the one to blame and "Yay! The Sisterhood!" Also she's watched her Dad have affairs and probably worried about her parents breaking up due to them. She will have picked up a lot of damaging messages and perceptions of that. Even without that though, she's still only 21. Every 21 year old girl/woman I knew thought the same way. I feel really sure she will get over herself and be perfectly pleasant and chatty to Ellie in the villa over the next day or two because Dani is a very kind hearted and lovely girl.

I’m afraid I haven’t been knocking around mumsnet either because the minute I saw Dani’s reaction I thought “yes yes” I would be exactly the same and so would everyone I know.

I feel Jack’s feelings for Dani are warm and real. Perhaps initially he saw an opportunity but they bonded as real friends and possibly more. Think his behaviour has been genuine. If not, he’s one hell of an actor.

And I truly rate Georgia. A pp called her a Queen and she is. She is funny and very pretty. Her personality is warm and she is kind and loyal.

Dani is very sweet and a joy to watch. Loved the way she and G were there for one another when there were two villas.

Loved the Georgia / Dani relationship. Warms my heart. Both Dani and Georgia are cut from the same cloth

I think Georgia and Dani look very alike. I can always tell which is which when they are otgether, but soemtimes when just one is on screen it can take me a few seconds to work out which one it is.

Bit like on series 2 with Sophie/Emma, just don't think this time it will end up in a massive crush and fall out!

Yes I remember. He also went straight for her in the snogging game. I don't think he was ever invested in G and to lead her to believe otherwise until he spotted someone else was low.

I think Jack is worried about Ellie2 spilling the beans that he is not quite the perfect lovely lad he has made out to be?

Like, I do think he is lovely, and funny and I do genuinely think he is really into Dani. But it does sound like he has messed Ellie around a bit and probably doesn't want that side of him coming out.

Georgia is awesome!

Yes Jack and Ellie 2 deffo had a friends with benefits thing going on.
He is prob one of those guys that hates being single or not getting any after a break up.

Also Ellie 2 seems quite shy and nervous.

I wish I had a friend like Georgia. Such as it is I'm using it as a learning experience of sorts for the DD's-good examples of how ideally you should act as a friend, and of how not to act as a general person-and of all the cliches the boys have come out with and so what not to fall for.Might be a bit of a reach but I think there is some merit in it.

Oh I like Georgia but she will massively kick off tonight and cry and go crazy.
We only saw 30 seconds after recoupling, half tonight's ep will prob be what happens next.
I just hope it we see more natural stuff, everyone gossiping getting to know newbies.

WhyOhWine I find it difficult to tell them apart too, especially in the day time when they just have hair piled up and sunglasses! I have to wait for them to speak.

DH and I really enjoyed last night's episode. We both actually think Jack is still a proper good egg. DH reckons its obviously Jack is just pissed that his ex has come in and doesn't want Dani to be upset. Love Dani and her reactions felt all so real to me; I know that's exactly how I would have behaved in that situation. We really like watching them together; probably because their relationship seems so like ours. We both weirdly like Frankie too.

Loved Laura's "karma" comment in the beach hut! And oh my the girls' reaction when Adam walked in was brilliant!
