New thread as other one is almost there! Do we think Megan is going to be removed over the newly released pics?

I’m caught between being obsessed with this programme and feeling bad for watching it. The people in there aren’t the brightest and the producers are controlling them like puppets, making them cry etc by sending them texts of their men with other women. It’s cruel. And yes I know they signed up for the show, but they’re young and excited by being on tv.

And Sophie committed suicide.

It all leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Georgia did good. She really is a queen (and I cannot tell you how much I usually hate that word). If the blokes in there can’t see her worth, they’re bigger fools than I thought. Hopefully someone will come in and see exactly what she’s got to offer and not be dick to her.
I’ve never really got Jack and Dani - think they’ve been set up from the start - but the last few days I’m converted and think they’re very genuine.
Megan - ugh. Completely the female Adam. Nasty piece of work. She seems to take pleasure in others’ pain and cannot abide not being centre of attention. The worst kind of girl. Wes was a fool though - no sympathy for him. Alex 2 makes me heave. As do Frankie and Charlie.
Alex 1 is completely a fish out of water. He’s coming across as a big of a prat because these just aren’t his people. I’ll bet he is completely different in a crowd of well-educated professionals. He’s floundering around, trying to copy the other boys. I’m not sure being himself would have any more success with the women there, but he’d have more dignity (like Camilla last year) He should go now, this isn’t that kind of show. I reckon Charlie got cold feet (either about him or the show generally) and the producers hastily pushed Grace. It was too quick to be anything else.
Laura has gone up in my estimation over the last week. She was insecure with Wes, but handled herself well.
Sam and Ellie - meh. If she had any self-respect, she’d have gone home after Jack made it clear that he wasn’t interested.

Does everyone remember that Josh was laying it on with Zara at their date even when he was with georgia? He’s been a player from the beginning.

He gets on better with Kaz and it’s no loss to Georgia. It’s just the gamed set up means that she was let down dramatically and inhumanely! The producers tried to warn her via the video.

I think that Ellie2 probably thought she had hit the jackpot when she saw Jack had gone into Love Island. She could just contact the show, tell them that she is a recent on/off ex, and was probably catapulted straight in for a free holiday and TV exposure. She prpbably had no intention of going in to break up Dani and Jack, unless she wanted to become totally hated, she didn't even try with Jack.

I’m shocked as to why ppl are surprised at Dani’s reaction to Ellie. That is exactly what anyone I know would’ve said and done. Shes 21 and it’s a completely human reaction. Yes that’s how they all are on Towie but that’s how it is in reality. Well at least the way I was brought up and the people I knew.

I think Dani's reaction was knee-jerk insecurity and jealousy. I think she'll probably calm down. Shows how much she likes Jack.

What I don't get is why it's been so one sided and sexist - why weren't the boys shown any thing? Haven't they in the past?

Will it go to public vote then to get rid of a few couples?

Yes why weren’t the boys shown anything. I asked this yesterday in the context of Wes. But as he and Mangan weren’t officially a couple that is why apparently.

FYI I think Samira is using Frankie as much as he is using her.
Again wanted to say I loved Ellie’s reaction to Adam. And why did Samira look so shocked that he came in with someone?

That clip of Georgia turning round swishing her ponytail and taking a deep breath to compose herself is such an inspiration - and I say that as a married 41 year old!- I'd love to be able to stick it on my fridge for when my daughters are older and dealing with boys

To be honest, other than Megan, who wasn't in a couple they had nothing to show the boys.

Dani and Georgia were completely loyal, Ellie and Laura had both already 'broken up' with the lad they were coupled with and neither Samira nor Sam seemed all that bothered by one another.

True MrsFassy but surely they could have found someone from Dani's past to send in, too. To give Jack something to sweat about. It's always ex-girlfriends who go in. Maybe the ex boyfriends aren't interested, who knows, bit it seems unfair.

And no, I wouldn't have wanted Wes to have a heads-up about Megan. As mean as it sounds, I did enjoy seeing the disappointment on his face after the cruel way he treated Laura. Breaking up with people is fine, but the way he did it was not fine.

Whatever we think of Alex on the outside world, I thought it was really sweet how pleased the original islanders obviously were to see him come back with a girl. I do think he is a popular character in the villa, perhaps not as slimey as he's coming across on camera. I think he's just very awkward having these 'constructed' conversations. He's coming across as not natural because these aren't natural conversations, they're set up and he's not a natural actor.

Feeling a bit off Samira at the moment. Did anyone else catch her saying to Megan after Georgia was upset about the clip of Josh "I'm just going to stay out of her (Georgia's) way, I can't be bothered". Nice

It proves my existing theory that shit heads never go with other shit heads, they seek out those who don’t know their tricks. Adam and Megan spotted it instantly in each other and kept away.

Megan totally played Wes, I don’t think hes as bad as people are making out, just a 20 year old ruled by his dick. I think he’ll learn. Unlike Adam or Megan.

I’m thinking Sam was asked to couple with Ellie486 once Jack didn’t go for her. Not that he was in to Samira but he seems to have even less in common with Ellie486.

Also knowing that Dani and Georgia would stay faithful he’d have known it was 6 guys and 4 girls so the odds were Samira would recouple.

What now for Georgia? She won’t go for a guy already coupled and she and Wes are not going to happen. Can she last until someone new goes in?

@mooncuplanding Adam did try and crack on with Megan when she first arrived but Megan ran off to tell Rosie, drama ensued and that was that. Perhaps she spotted that she'd met her match?!

I agree re Wes. Everyone happy to make excuses for everyone else (girls) who are young.

I think i'd feel more sympathetic to Wes if he hadn't given Laura a load of bullshit about Ellie a few days before.

Yeah, I'd agree, I don't think he's such a 'player' as Adam and Josh. Just an idiot. I guess, he's learnt a very public lesson in how not to be a fool to women and maybe he's young enough for that to have an impact on future relationships before he gets to the Adam or Josh stage. Hopefully!

godiva I feel exactly the same as you about it. My compromise is to watch the last few minutes and read on here which is far more interesting and entertaining than the actual programme!
