Isn't the whole Adam thing a case of 'he's just not that into you'? It reminds me of a guy at uni, he was so charming and good looking and I made a total tit of myself on many an occasion because I kept going back for more even though I knew exactly what he was like. He's young and just wants his cake and to eat it and then to eat loads more.....

It's the way that he gaslighted Rosie that was the worst. Everything else, including getting his head turned by every female in there, is probably just normal dickish 22 year old lad behaviour. But the way that he told Rosie that it was her behaviour that caused him to look elsewhere when we all know that's not the case, was pretty low.

I think it's a good thing Women's aid have spoken about it. There are plenty of young people watching LI who are just starting out in relationships, my 13 yr old SD being one of them. She needs to know that what Adam's doing isn't ok. And don't get me started on the makeup thing! Lauren Goodger's words about this were...'Rosie embarrassed Adam so he thought I'm gonna mess up your face' as if it was a perfectly normal reaction. He tried to humiliate her and that is not ok.

If he wants to play the field that’s his choice, but when he told Rosie that it was her behaviour that made him be no longer interested in her that was an outright lie as he had already told the boys he wanted to move on to Zara.

Yeah he should have just had the bollocks to say 'look, this is Love Island, I'm a gorgeous 22 year old bloke who was a very ugly teenager, another fit girl who likes ne has come in and I fancy her more than you, so I'm sorry but given we have only been together for 10 days I'm going to move on to Zara. Thanks for the hand job.'

What he did was totally cowardly.

We-ll I don’t think it is entirely untrue. Not defending him trying to shift all the blame her on her, but the fact is he fancied her at the start - it was her personality and behaviour that made him go off her. (And me too). He told the other HMs - her clinginess, neediness and insecurity - were like his ex. And she’s just a bit ick.

I could very clearly see he wasn’t that into her way before Zara came along. The reason he made a beeline for Zara was because he wanted to get away from Rosie.

Of course he could have a) not led her on b) distanced himself c) not engaged in sexuals etc.

He also could have been honest and said ‘I fancied you at the start but being coupled up made me realise that we were not compatible. I shouldn’t have been so full on when I wasn’t feeling it 100% that is my fault’.

But that would have required him not to be a twat.

I can't quite understand the psychology of Adam - ok, I get that he used to be unattractive so now he is going for it big-time. BUT if he was rejected a lot when he was a bit younger, then why is he behaving similarly to those who rejected him?
