I do think Adam is responsible for Rosie and Kendall's behaviour. With both of them they turned into insecure, needy, paranoid and tearful when they were not like that when they first went in, only after spending time with Adam.
We only see 1 hour of each day so I dread to think of all the manipulation going on in the other 23 hours. Sadly, men like Adam are all too common so for many his behaviour is seen as normal or low level abusive.
If Adam had apologised for upsetting Rosie rather than smirking and making her out to be mad I think that would have been more acceptable.
Wes too is unbelievable. I hope Laura finds out Ellie knocked him back as it might be the wake up call she needs.
As for Ellie, I'm not sure she's that into Alex. I think the producers have desperately been trying to find a girl happy to couple up with him. I think she's sweet and genuine in that she likes him, but I don't think she fancies him. Her role is purely to be part of the Alex story. I'm going off Alex more each day.
