I don’t like Alex ,I think that he is self obsessed and arrogant to be honest.
Among his friends, he would probably be seen as a great catch; educated and quite good looking. He is finding it hard to believe that some women may not necessarily find him attractive and is trying desperately to save face by ‘pulling’ Ellie.
In real life , it is unlikely that Ellie would go for Alex and he probably wouldn’t go for her either

On his date with Ellie he said 'people might think I'm only interested in intellectual women but that's not the case at all' - I'd have told him to fuck off. So patronising! I don't see any great signs of intelligence him. And he's got zero social skills.

Tinkalilly it was up when I watched it last night. It’s possible they have forgotten to tick one of the boxes when uploading it so it you have a different way to access the hub (I used the iPhone app rather than sky or pc) then see if it’s there?

I like Alex. I haven't seen any arrogance myself, and I think the name of the game is to couple up so we can't blame him really for pursuing that end. I certainly don't think he's the only person in there who's trying to couple up with someone they wouldn't usually choose.

It's not the fact hes trying to couple up with someone he wouldn't normally go for - they all have to do that. It's the fact that he billed it as doing her a favour. He was very kindly going to waive his general standards.

He didn't ask her much about herself on the date, he just talked about himself.

I missed last night - it's a shame that Adam has been such a dick from the sounds of it, because I really cannot stand Rosie and I wanted him to get with Zara. But surely Zara is a classier girl that to go sloppy thirds now?

Yeah, I think you're being a bit harsh there. To be fair he was saying this is what people expected of him, but they were wrong. He got himself into a mess though and realised it very quickly and tried to back track.

He's justnot very good with women and I think his confidence has taken a battering making it worse. I think he's also just trying ro do what rhe others are and that's couple up with someone.

Samira is slightly different because she plays her cards closer to her chest. Probably why she got all upset at the thought of Alex's coupling up, leaving her exposed.

However I suspect she will be picked to stay in, one of the lads will pick her over Rosie. Because Rosie is a bit of a nightmare.

To be honest, if that's what Adam was thinking, so was I. I thought she was being over the top cringey and ridiculous. He should have been more empathetic but I can't fault him for his thought process. Mine was similar.

No one can deny what Alex said to Ellie about intellectual women was incredibly patronising and crass. Who does he think he is?

If he imagines this gig will lead to him becoming a television doctor, he is going to be disappointed. He is not engaging. God knows I find Dr Christian annoying but he has a bit of character.

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks Alex is cringe. I agree that he probably thinks highly of himself in the outside world where he would generally be the best look man in his vicinity. But in there he pales in comparison. Still, I think he’s a nice guy and probably not a total shit.

Also only find Adam attractive from the neck down. He is not coming across well. But he will end up with fame and endless young girls throwing themselves at him. Not going to lessen his ego. Agree though that without him it would be pretty boring in there.
